I wish I could help you out Blowcrack, but unfortunately I am from the midwest also. This is the place to get ahold of some Topdawg , or Cali connect gear to try some of these OGkush, and Chem crosses(seeds). Rootbound1

Nother midwesterner here. Only way to find out if the OGK is strong enough for you is to grow her out. I like OGK and all, but it's a bit too much for my daily driver:) Nice to have a jar on hand though!

pretty much the ogs bubbas and chems are the most potent strains around at this time most who say different have not had real examples of these strains.

true or they smoke straight sativas..... witch in my eyes have been the most potent smokes I have..... thai, nevilles haze, santa marta gold, etc..... personally I would take a strong sativa over anything but with the flowering times you can't beat a kush or a dawg in potency

I'm gonna agree with JD on this one. I've sampled and grown various OGKs, Chems and Bubba. I still hands down prefer an electric haze any day. Not saying the Cali genetics aren't potent, rather it's not as potent to me as pure or sat-leaning hybrids...

You need to be trying some well-grown sats then brother. The taste is there and the potency is outta this world. Yes the flowering time is long, but it seems like nothing once you have it in the jar:) As far as them being unmanageable, Ive managed to use a scrog screen and keep pure sats under 18" from bucket top to cola apex even in an ebb and flow setup.

If ya want it bad enough, ya can make anything work. It just takes patience and creativity, both of which you'll find to be a great tool in this here hobby.

Some people like Sats some people like Indies..To each their own!!!!..Sats are mainly in the head though and too long flowering time for me....I prefer a mix of both....OGK does it for me better than any pure Sativa does...Cant beat a properly grown OG in my opinion....Just my Opinion though...Its really personal preferance!..~ogr

So true raskal. It's all about finding what hits you right. I love OGs, but they cannot be smoked all day for me. If I wake and bake with an OGK, then forget about a productive day, lol! With a Nev's I can go about my business, high outta my gourd, but manageable at least. They each have their place as you say.

i prefer a high cbd to thc ratio like found in indicas or hybrids. energy is not something i normally need more of i do grow and vape sativas sometimes depending on mood like kaia kush which is a cross of og kush*super silver haze or blue dream which is haze*blueberry but if i had to take 1 strain to an island nothing beats REAL og kush for all around effect and taste.

not to rain on everyones kush/diesel bandwagon parade but og kush is not the strongest or the best high (which is all a matter of opinion, each herb effects people differently... :rauch08:) I have smoked alot of strains that were a better high and stronger (well grown black domina or the "cat" cut from PDX was stronger) and well i have never been a big fan of so called elite cuts, buy a pack of satori/mango haze/black widow or any other quality strain , grow organic and dial the strains in and you will have herb just as good or better then these diesels or kushes...let the haters go after me i dont care just my 2 cents

OG is the straight bomb. the expansiveness takes the breath out of you, so don't try to act like iron lungs in front of girls. you will be coughing like a bitch! can't complain though cuz the taste is the bombeeze. lemon pinesol fuel. simple as that...

Hey Koopa, gotta question. To me, pinesol or piney taste is totally different to Lemon smell and taste. I dont care much for the piney. Swerve said that the Sfvog was pure Lemon smelling and taste with no piney tastes. I have not got to try a true OGkush. I have money in hand waiting for these next TexPacks Cali Connection is bringing to the farm. Now to decide which one. HMMMMM...... Root
