Why Does Resin Give You A Headache When You Smoke It??

Why!?!?! I know its nasty ass shit and we should all be dumping it but for whatever reason i had a collection of it from the past year from my bong and pipe and ran out of bho the the other day and decided it would be a just move to smoke the resin..

Notice i said RESIN! Not reclaim!!! this is actual smoked flower resin were talking about.

So i smoked some yesterday got a lil buzz but later on that night i ended u getting a headache and it make me think back to previous years where smoking resin was pretty normal an sure as shit thinking back everytime i smoked it i would get a killer headache...

Ive since tossed the resin i can't partake in that shite anymore i'll just tuff it out till feb gets here...

But the question remains why the fuck does resin give you a headache? Whats exactly going on with the shit that causes it to give you a headache?

And please spare me the eeww resin gross nasty blah blah responses.. Ive already smoked it i know how nasty it is :P

Its s combusted carbon byproduct dabbs. Its its like scraping the your mufler liquifing it and tryana use it for gas. Your car may start "big may" but your gonna fuck some shit up.

Been there.. Used to round up all my friends glass and offer to " clean " it for uhm lol ahh the good old days.. which were not that many years ago actually lol

I found smoking little bits of resin were ok its when you tried to get high or baked off the shit is when the headache comes on, like its ok to smoke a little yer body says but that full bowls worth was just too much :(

Combustion :D

reclaim is a re condensed Bho, while resin is a combusted form of all the plant material.

I used to smoke a lot of resin, back when I had to buy my weed on the black market and things got dry. It often didn't give me a headache, but sometimes it did. I have no idea why.

Starting to wish i would have not thrown it out last night and tried again today to see if maybe it was just a fluke headache ( I do get them 3-4 times a week so it wouldn't be that out of the blue ) But they usually come on when the disc's in my neck are acting up which lately they have been fine..

Coulda been a fluke.. Maybe i got another bowl or something around here i'll see if i can scrape a little more together and give this a try again today.. If i get a 2nd headache shorty there after tho im totally blaming the resin.

I think this is a great question, and goes to how complicated combustion is.

But it does KINDA make ya feel better , I mean it does get you high so theres still some of the original chemical present, but as you said theres a 2nd round when you reheat the nasty matter.. We know what thc degrades into when heated so thats not whats doing it, The question remains what are those chemicals that are left..

Maybe you should smoke the resin like bho.like make a dab and heat your rig real good and try to get it to flash like oil does.oh this is lil dabbster he prolly does this lol.
I can see where bho resin is higher in thc but its still just resin.and when I read about reclaim its not always bho reclaim, i think it was originally just old bong resin reclaim before the bho craze.but idk.i would def give it another go.man we smoked the livin shit out of very small roachs and pipe resin when I was young, like 12 and 13.it all started with lighting roachs off the pilot from a furnace in my buddys basement.his older bro always had an ashtray full of roachs and we took the "extras" :)

Tried dabbing resin before, It don't vaporize very well it just kinda smolders on the nail and ends up stinking the house up real bad..

Yeah whatever it was called or what people wanna call it now, there is a difference in the two, mainly being 1 is combusted and 1 is turned into a vapor - re-condensed and turned back into its solid form, Think distillations its the same principle when dealing with Vaporizers / oil rigs ect..

We used to call it "going Black Ops"; resin-smoking was a pretty frequent thing. Tastes bad, but usually got a short-lived buzz. I found that eating it would act like an edible; i'd scrap it and put it in gel caps so it didn't taste hideous. Probably not a good idea to ingest all that by-product of combustion, but hey, it was decarboxylated...

I haven't run out of herb in years, probably due to the ol' Black Ops...
