So who here has info about this LED ? (highpower4s) or HP4s sub company called Alta led a High end for ag warehouse Full sunlight spectrum supposedly very very good Company looking for input as this is the newest most advanced type of NON-RGB led

Its Called phoquan discharge array (P.D.A) basicly its all colors layered into a full spectrum on the led directly then optically controlled. ? kind of .

I pulled up the company history and the umbrella companies are in perfect alignment to manufacture and distribute this new Light system.

You guys know me and No I don’t work for them but I see something VERY BIG here only a few small testers right now as this is searious;y ground floor new last 6-12 mths on open stocks Only super big nursery’s like TxKid large have been using them with superior results……..

The light can be purchased two different ways veg and bloom together or Veg separate Bloom separate.

I could try and explain more of what I don’t understand other than to say The light is off the Fucking charts with its CRI PAR Kelvin matching sun reproducing abilities more so than any other light I have read about. Again you guys who know what I’m about, You know I read read read and then research what interest me and this bad boy is a MONUMENTAL GAME CHANGER and has my full attention…… So growers type in HP4s LED into any search engine and scope it out, its so new only One medi grower has it and now he bought 18 units each of three separate rooms That’s how much he liked them…… hmmmm makes ya wonder a little.

The cost is as big as the difference in lighting too. Like 2100.oo ea
Hp4s alta

I pulled up some more on this light and YouTube videos show it 20 feet above canopy and others show it right on top so this Leeds me to believe its used as a supplemental to reg sunlight and as a stand alone...
Guys like @Power OG who kill it with LEDs are much more up on this stuff I am just kinda an eggy with a little info I can be Dangerous....
If I could get my hands on a few par of um that would be hella Kewl
Peace FlyJ

What footprint do they cover?

I'm looking for an LED that works as well as a 600 over a 3x3 space

Sunlight specrum isn't ideal for flowering. Creates too much leaf, that's why indoor is way denser than outdoor bud. Way more red light in HID than Sun, and much less blue. IMHO anyway.. Red and blue RGB LED's are more absorbable also since plants don't use green.

I like'em for supplemental lighting. currently supplementing my hps..... keeping it as high as possible .

supplemental lighting
So you are using a HP4s as sup lighting or a different LED ?
@Over 4 grand a piece seems a bit over the top for supplemental lighting But I do know the units are being sold as fast as they are built and have a Commercial application in Very large whorehouse grows... BIG Grows not just MMJ but Vertical Hydroponic systems in the united Arab Emmit Debi.

I myself IMHO like them that's why I put this thread up to share
I just cant see spending that kind of cash YET
They are Bad azz looking too

but they are tunable either flower or Veg as there are newer units now

Red and blue RGB LED's are more absorbable also since plants don't use green.

Interesting point of view, I myself teeter on the edge of the fence over the single full spectrum vs isolated single color Waves, The facts are when two or three light LED lights are (Blended) the gaps are gaps I believe very good things to come in the next year with a Quartz crystal optics and higher level full spectrum LED that can be adjusted to match a desired Veg or flower requirement giving better penetration and higher level of efficiency.
Its all just Cool and the light is working outside the norm

TOO BAD ITS TOO MUCH lol

Good stuff Farmers, love the input

@Harp totally think your grows are great Bro keep at um looks like some great grows.
Welcome to the farm @LEDZep lots o good here
Peace

Ya sorry I forgot to mention I'm using mars II LED. full spectrum.. I would like to get something in the 720nm - 740nm for better supplemental lighting in the flowering stage.

In all honesty I am seriously saving up for this thing
I will wait till the price drops to half what there at now at least lol
Its all good

I'm really digging this hps4 tho. I've been wanting to try a sulfur plasma light and this looks pretty close to it.

in about 2 more years
A game changer that will show up That is the real deal
Lets hope and see the engineers build a WINNER . . . . .
some star-wars type lighting Hell yea . . . . .
I am a keep it light and keep it fun

I have been doing a lot of thought to my issue with height restricted growing and the need for LED's to be higher than a HPS or MH
now for some of us who do not have the space LED placement can be a problem
Or down right imposable,
so I have been looking at other options due to this issue. HO-HUM

But then I saw this thing
Spectrum King LED Series 300
It warrants a closer look too.
and I will post what I find out
peace Farmers

I don't know about the light but the name is just funny as hell

Phoquan sounds either like a Chinese restaurant or the ghetto fabulous cousin of photon

I know Right ?
funny name but leaps a head of RGB nm 5w singles on a board
whats far out is the state of the art operations in far east Norway and United Arab Emerit Seems to be
something to them 60 and 120 light indoor gardens, supplying supplemental lighting to 1000 feet greenhouses
some amazing studies. It is going to be groundbreaking in the light companies everywhere this new Need for growing indoors gets bigger as in new companies looking to do it bigger badder better.... welll maybe not better how about cheaper and
lots of trial and error
Just for fun
I will say it now the Optical lenses and tottal spectrum diods will be the breakthrough to neer sunlight
duplication by crystal lenses coated with ? aimed by ? and ground Ironical or en-conical to focus light

Just My guess
good hunting FlyJ

Ok I made this thread so every once in a while something Catches My eye and I have to read all about it
