I ve never done a scrog. Seems like a waste of time and effort if ur illegal in the first place. It takes a ton of veg time. Scrog is best for staying below a specific plant count.

If ur doin it for fun the scog that is then have at it. If ur trying to optimize production then there are certainly better ways.
Its way more efficient and fast to veg 4 plants small than 1 big one. Ull probably get a better yield per watt w more plants too.

Lol fuck knows man...just had a nice curry now I'm tayin a nice joint I feel like taking a snooze lol shame the weeds bunko was a sample a lad gave me ages and ages ago had it in a baggy since now its gone all.brown lol better than nothing I suppose....got a load coming 2morro so I'll be grand like

Hows the plants going @Bigc ? Got any recent pics? My 12/12 from seed plants are same age as your autos... wouldnt mind comparing them :)

I bend over the main stem when it gets to about 4 or 5 nodes tall. The first I strap I add is at the base of the stem to provide support.

Then, moving up the stem I add more straps opposite (i.e. 1800) to the first, until the top is bent over to 900.

The goal is not so much to deny the apical bud light. The goal I believe, is to allow the side branches (axillary buds) to catch up to the same hight as the apical bud. This causes hormones to be redirected and causes each axillary bud to behave like a apical bud.

Moving forwards, straps will need to be added and adjusted so, as the plant gets bigger, it's profile takes on a level canopy and the plant spreads somewhat.

Hope this makes sense, let me know if there's anything unclear. As I said though, others will be far more experienced BDSM'ers and will have some other ideas for us.

Looking good mate. My plants are just starting to bud up ... probably 5 weeks more left. 12/12 from seed takes around 12 weeks ....
I'm curious what yields will be compared to autos , autos might finish a week or 2 earlier but needs 18/6 or 24/0 light scedule . So costs more in electric. ...

Thanks very much @Bigc I appreciate that. Just glad to help you learn, and grow, not to mention it gives me subject matter to ponder on I would not normally consider.
