I just notice that I never put a grow journal up on here so here it is.

GROW BOX: 6 sq feet
LIGHTS: (4) CFL's 20 watts, 1300 Lumens , 27ook a piece and (1) 23 Watt 1800 Lumens, 2700k
STRAIN: Unknown (Bag Seed)
NUTES: Mircale Grow 24/8/16
GERMINATION DATE: 8/29/15
SEED POPED: 9/1/15
Ok now all the facts are out of the way..
I already know I am going to have to get a 6500k light soon. Mircale Grow is a toss up but it is what I have for right now.
In the first week after germination FairyLand seemed to be thriving well fast growth and all. She was one of two seeds that popped at the same time Fairyland has always been vigorous grower. Now this week, week 2 after popping she has really slowed down, and the 2 bottom leaves were starting to really turn yellow but no burnt spots or any damage to the leaves. So I was told 2 different things on a few sites. 1 that I am over watering and 2 it might need some nitrogen. So what I did was I waited 2 days after I started troubleshooting and I watered with 1/4th the asking of MG to 1 milk sized container and watered ONLY the outside of the pot.

Is that regular m.g soil? If yes then it's not needing nitrogen ,seeing how your soil supplies for 3 months or so. Actually it's just those first leafs ,they die off.
You should try to cut soil with some seed starter,or just put seed in starter soil. You could pull it right out of that soil. M.G is strong especially for a seed. You will need to add either perlite or vermiculite to help with aireation and compacting. You might need stronger lights to finish with.

But they were yellow before putting nutes in I just did that on sunday

Ok it looks like is is slowly i mean slowly getting better..

When i started seeds i didnt give them anything but water. Wait til theyre a little bigger to dose em. All they need rite now is water within the right ph

At one point i gave em earth juice. Very very small amount. EJ is 1-1-1 and very laid back almost impossible to burn with.

Also, i agree with str8. Your gonna need more light for finishing those buds. However, thatll be enough to veg under imo. Look into tobh's micro grow (the link that str8 posted up for you). I suggest it to anyone growing under cfls and having a little trouble with proper light distribution. Grow on!

Omg I am so mad at myself :mad: I was watering Fairyland and droped her.:banghead::banghead::inpain: But in a sense I guess I am kinds happy to cause she is getting massive:woot: roots they are really long:woot:. None of the roots looked harmed I am thinking cause I didnt pack the dirt in so it is really loose and the dirt just kinda fell off the roots. I quickly and gently picked her up and put her back and filled container with a lil more dirt then I had in before. What do you think will she make it or did i mess up royal?

Shell be ok. Long as you didnt damage too much. Itll just take her a couple days to bounce back. I did the same thing not too long ago : /

Check the ph make sure its not too low or high. An off balance ph will lockout the nitrogen and turn the leaves yellow. Dont do runoff tests, theyre unreliable ive found out.

Try a slurry test. Make sure your media isnt too high or low.

If it is,... hopefully someone here can give you a list of amendments to mix with your soil and either lower or raise ph. I cant remember them off hand.

I actually just orders another cfl this time 6500k and ph strips

epsom salts i believe will help remedy an imbalance, however i will have to go thru my records to remind myself of the exact units of measure to use per gallon brb.

Is there a way I could check the ph without a tester I know that sounds funny but i am serious its is going to take 3 weeks to get mine in mail.
