no vac or oven. only heating options are a griddle with warm (170-190*), or my commercial oven at home (170* lowest setting), and have convection option as well.

I tested in in my ti nail last night, its tasty and does the trick, but the texture isn't right, imo.

I was thinking of scraping it all back up, grabbing 2 more bottles of diesel, putting all scraped etoh in one bottle. shake until all dissolved, then pour into a 1/2 gallon mason jar. then add another new bottle of diesel to thin out the mixture. then evap smaller amounts at a time. my initial run at this was 1ltr of diesel put into 2x 11x15" 5qt glass pans on top of the griddle on warm (its 35* in my work room), and a fan on high blowing over it. im thinking it was too much to evap at one time (too deep in the glass dish)?

now I do have a vac attachment for a wide mouth mason jar, but have no dish that would fit in the mouth. if I had a dish that would fit, I could vac in a warm dish of water. that's about all I have to work with.

The pictures were from reclaiming pipe dregs and roaches. It turned out surprisingly light colored, but that doesn't mean all oil will. Chlorophyll and anthro cyanin pigments are the darkest elements that can come into play.

What color is the oil when smeared on white paper?

Thank you for the reply. The top smear in the photo is what we started with and the lower smear is after 29 passes of 50/50 water to hexane BHO.

That looks like color from anthro cyanin plant pigments. Our best process for taking those out, was column chromatography, using Hexane and borosilicate chromatography beads.

So that bho of all that waxy goodness was just from roaches and dregs!?! Damnit boy!

And I Love all those test run mason jars... Do you find wax leaves residue in your mouth? Heard a buddy say that the other day... I don't find I feel much residue when I freeze the tane... But what do I know, it does because a crumble...

Yeah I feel I haven't experienced it with my frozen jar washes... What kind of nail do you use?
An electric nail that we whomped up from a titanium V-1 Domeless nail, an oil coil, and a PID controller. I also use a carb cap.

Awesome, thanks for the info! Do you mind sharing what size silica beads you use? and do you pre load the column, or just use the BHO dissolved into hexane.

I did a quick search on the forums to see if you had answered this yet, but i did not find anything. Sorry if you have answered this before.

5 micron, wetted with Hexane and compressed into a column.

Are you THE Graywolf?
If so, I'm honoured to finally land on a forum where you're an active member.
I knew some people who were looking for the original guy - not sure if they found him/you or not.

Sherry

Ummmmm, define "The"................

In these parts, folks usually think of OR-7, when you say Gray Wolf.

I've been Graywolf on forums for a decade or so, and am the GW who co founded Skunk Pharm Research.

I've read a lot of your threads on a different, much smaller forum & people talk about you with much respect there, but this is the first forum I've joined where you're an active member.

I'm just getting into concentrates personally, so I look forward to reading through what you've had to say recently.

Welcome aboard Sherry and thanks for the good thoughts!! It goes without saying that I admire your discerning taste, keen intellect and excellent attitude.

I usually don't get credit for it, but my epiphany that it is possible to put pants on both legs at the same time sitting down, was arguably my crowning achievement, given the generally accepted observations on the subject.

I not only share on this forum, but I've gotten a lot of good information off this site as well, so you've come to the right place.
Bon appetite, and feel free to ask questions

@Graywolf are unbleached coffey filters a decent way to filter oil from a jar of buds soaked in everclear or is there a better filter/screen i should be looking for? and what is your prefered soak time for everclear and premium buds ?

Hahaha holy shit! So you doNt put your pants on one leg at a time?!? Never thought I'd see the day!!! Haha Happy Thanksgiving Brother! DAB IT UP! Can't wait to get home to my new Ti Nail and kill some fresh Taffie Live Resin!!!

An unbleached coffee filter will work.

A Number 1 Whatman lab filter with Buchner funnel and vacuum assist, is faster.

Let the festivities begin!
Do you ever use pens? I don't really like them... Letting my Fiancé pick me up the new PuffCo Pro for Christmas hopefully that won't have much gross taste...

I just bought a little mini rig for travel! Love it!!! Pull off, dab, good to go!

I have a power pen and a original g pen w/ti funnel. g pen = F garbage. my power pen rocks. use that thing everywhere. but I still prefer my new oil rig.

GW, thanks for all the help. much appreciated. I ordered the silicone heat mat this am. now im 500.00+/- into my vac purge system. cant wait to purge that etoh oil I have teasing me in my pyrex dishes for few weeks.

I prefer an electric nail as well.

For travel I typically use a Mori Designs pipe, which has a Ti skillet and was gifted to me by a student, so I don't know where to buy more.
