There was a bloke on the other site im on that spent over a year proving that the whole 36/48 hrs of darkeness was bollocks etc, compared 10-20 strains with all sorts of lighting combinations etc n there was absolutely no difference between the plants that had 48hrs of dark n those that had none etc

Lads down this way do a 6 week veg, lowering the light by an hour each week and this SO FAR is the quickest way ive seen to get a plant to swing from veg into flower, normally less than 3-4 days after flip there is first signs of flowers starting to form etc, so something like

wk1 veg 18/6
wk2 17/7
wk3 16/8
wk4 15/9
wk5 14/10
wk6 13/11

then flip to 12/12 for start of wk7

its possible but didn't palpantine actually kill him? or u think he's been resurrected? and i have to say I've been out geeked.
I don't believe in a long period of dark at flip, tried it never seen any benefit,id rather give a 22 \24 hour light then straight to 12\12 this kick starts them into flower,76
Thats what i do.its inconvenient for me to give extra dark at flip but limo swears by it.

Thinking something lime/lemon/orange etc, been looking at the Green ribbon BX from Exotix, Blue Hash from dinafem and Lemon Blue Thai and a few others
The sour tangie I got is ok but very diesely after taste I've got my eye on a few from exotic I've just placed a order soon as they arrive I will get them straight away it seems with them guys if u don't get em whilst there in u might be waiting a while to see them again if ever

My pal swears by it too says he gets an extra 1500g he's running 15 x 600w bargain basement lights with standard canna schedule in coco and he's saying the difference is only since he started the funky light schedule I'm guna put this subject to bed a do a proper run of it the room I got in mind has got full control with a iws flood and drain and a co2 set up I can punch in the temps for day and night and get a accurate result

I'm not saying it gives me extra weight or quality. The reason I do it is because years ago I took over a grow that was fucked. The plants weren't happy, I got all the basics right for them but couldn't get the plants looking happy. I tried loads of products and nothing worked. I needed to get them into flower so as a last gasp effort I gave them 48 hours dark before flowering. When I put the lights on boom they were amazing, looking really happy and pert, great colour. Ended up being a good crop. So I feel the plants enjoy a little rest before the big push into flower, my plants always seem to respond well to it, no major tangible gains apart from happy plants!

Happy plants = happy buds.happy buds = happy limo.

Also this conversation started about posting cuts I think. I said that being stuck in a post office for 4 days etc won't cause hermies later down the line which from my experience is true
The genetics must have been real strong like I said it's a risk me personally ain't prepared to risk I've got far too much shit going on to waste time with em for u maybe u waited a while and the risk was worth the reward for a particular strain / pheno but for me there's too many to be going at to fuck around too much :)
