Did you notice the AgSil 25 numbers in that chart? It is a liquid potassium silicate, similar to
Protekt (2.5 weight ratio SiO2:K2O) , only more concentrated.
Also be aware that the dry AgSil 16h is 14.8% water, even in the dry form.
Have you had your OSA28 product tested after dilution to working strength? will you share the results?
I will gladly have another analysis of the AgSil 16h after diluted. Give me a target Si concentration and after the holiday I will get it tested. It might be best to shoot for a concentration that the OSA28 product can be diluted to as well and then we could compare the two diluted products for soluble silicon(5 day AAFPCO method), and also total silicon(hydrofluoric acid method).
I will post the link to the white paper that describes the 5 day AAFPCO method again for you.
Sebastian et al.: Journal of AOA C International Vol. 96, No. 2, 2013
So they take 0.2 grams of the fertilizer material, mix it with 100 mL of sodium carbonate solution and 100 mL of ammonium nitrate solution, shake it for an hour then let that sit for 5 days.
After 5 days they take 2 mL of this mixture and dilute it in water with a fnal volume of 200mL
This is what they add the reagents to and analyze for reactive silicon(silicic acid).
