Hey everyone. I am a newbie grower on my 2nd run and This is my first post and I'm trying to be calm and research as much as I can as far as the problems I'm having, but I'm freaking out inside cause im getting conflicting answers. And even a 10 year grower is telling me he has little to no clue as to why this is happening and he's never seen this problem.

I will try my best to describe my problem.

Indoor grow
Start of Week 3 flower
Blue dream
8 1000 watt air cooled/ ducted lights
50% humidity. 77 degree max temp
R/O water
Ppm 1300
6.0 ph
Advanced nutrients
Feeding everyday
flood and drain bucket system
Planted in 4" rockwool cube surrounded by gs-1 hydro stones

Just a note here. These plants transfered into flower from veg amazing.

So in the second week of flower a few of my plants started to get this claw effect on the top and I read everywhere online that this is due to nitrogen toxicity ( and usually only happens in veg) but then I noticed that the lowest leaves of the plant were yellowing and dying off which is usually from nitrogen deficiency . My friend who has 10 years of experience has no idea what this claw is (I guess he grows well) and doesn't know what to do. He think it might be light stress so I turned all 8 lights down from 1000 to 600. It was His only suggestion. I don't really wanna sit here and wait and see what will happen. I want to try to salvage this. Hoping some masters on here can chime in and give their thoughts. I'll try to upload some pictures in the next post right now

I'd say too much n man idle I'd hit up @Seamaiden or @ShroomKing

My suggestion would be to flush your system and re-load at 50% nute strength and build back up

I actually did flush yesterday and the day before but to get out whatever it was out of the plant but today fed them with 1270ppm. Should I flush again tomorrow and start with 650?

no.....flushing will kill your plants to...what i meant was just flush your rez and reload with lower nute %.....looks like nute lockout to me....I could be wrong

Off topic but what BD cut?

Got these clones from a reliable friend. I don't know much more about this strain. He told me blue dream. Sorry couldn't give you a specific answer on that

I just flushed yesterday and reloaded the 100gal rez with 1270ppm. Can I dump half and refill with just r/0 water so it's technically half ppm or would you start fresh completely?

actually check your ph....make sure its between 5.5-6 make sure your ph meter is calibrated
by the way what line of AN are you using
part of your plant looks like N toxicity
the other half looks N defecient
it really could be anything which sux I know Hopefully you get it figured out

p.s.
you should run a cycle while lifting one of the worst plants up and look indide to see if they are getting water and to make sure all plants are getting flooded...I can see some look alot worse then others

Yes. I am at 6.0 ph. Just bought a blue lab combo meter a few days ago.
And do you mean the individual names of my nutrients?

Also. Lifting some buckets was my next move for when it's time to flood them. I'm for sure gonna do that. It's definitely frustrating to see a deficiency and a toxicity in the same room :/. Do you think bringing the lights down to 600 will help? Or not really

IMO what I see has nothing to do with lights....could be wrong but unlikely....for some reason to me....stuck in my head....is your plants arent getting flooded or not draining out....something keeps telling me that is the culprit....kinda stoned so....but to get a complete meltdown like I am seeing....reminds me of what my tomato plants look like through winter when I havnt watered in like a month and everything gets all contorted and the plant starts to consume itself

and yeah what exact nutes are you using...any additives...the lineup....
also have you checked your ph meter against calibration solution....I hear its new but always make sure it is calibrated
PH perfect AN should be 5.6 ph

I'm not using all this in the current mix. This is just what I currently have

Advanced nutrients
Bud candy
Bud ignitor
Overdrive
Big bud

heavy 16
A and B
Fire
Roots
Prime

Botanicare
Cal-mag

Cx horticulture
Regen-a-root

Phosphoload
Hygrozyme

so what are you currently putting in the Res....which of those in that lineup
for me I KISS....keep it simple stoopid
I usually only use very few products
I know alot of people that ise a shit ton but they have it all dialed in

Meant to type 6.0ph. Not pm. Just a typo

And that's all per gal

also something may not be working with that.....you said this is your 2nd run
is this exactly what you ised last run
if so then it is not nutes....but if no then this mix might not be good...
again I def would run a cycle and see whats going down with the fill and drain
