In the spirit of Valentines, I wanted to share a few yummy ideas with the forum. My favorite way to use my AVB is making Canna Milk, with that I make almost anything that is made with milk. I've made a mini heart shaped brownie with cinnamon vanilla custard, I surprised myself with that one so yummy. The chocolate pie was a hit (can't go wrong with chocolate and cannabis) My all time favorites are my Special Dark Chocolate milk and my Cafe con Leche (Cuban (espresso) coffee with milk) easy to make.

The way I make the Canna Milk and I have switched my methods as I evolve and learn more about edibles.
I have a small crock pot, in it I place 2 cups of milk (must be whole milk), 1/2 cup of water with 4 grams of AVB. I simmer it on low for at least 20 mins. or you may simmer for longer if you wish.

You can also do this method with a double boiler. I like the the crock pot method better, I don't have to baby it as much as the double boiler method. You can add really any flavoring if you like, I like to throw in cinnamon sticks or vanilla or just leave it as is and later add whatever ingredients I'm in the mood for.

Enjoy!

I'm not into abv....plus I don't think it will kick hard enough.
Cuz when I vape it, it's history....fried n tossed.
But if I were to use fresh or cured bud I think your recipe would be appropriate or too strong?

NO NO NO!! don't throw it away! It still has yummy stuff in it!! They still pack a punch!

I vape and take canna pills everyday for muscle pain so I believe my tolerence is very high. I took half of the brownie you see in that picture and had a smaller dish of the custard and I felt warm and fuzzy and totally high. My daughters friend had half of a brownie and shared the custard with my daughter and he ended up in bed vomiting a couple of times and had to spend the night.

To use fresh bud use 1:1 ration. one cup of milk to 1 gram of bud. Don't forget to de-carb!

Enjoy!

So 2 grams of keif or hash should do good.. I might try that tonight,a good little nite cap..

Str8, I wouldn't try 2 grams, I believe one should be enough. I'm telling you guys I've had family members and friends say this stuff is too strong for them or put them over them moon but in a good way.

Just take a little at a time.

Enjoy!

There is a thread 'cannibis milk saves lives' in the cannibis recipes forum.Just freeze it,break it up into chunks and chuck it in a coffee.Works a treat I've had a couple today

Wow, that is a great idea to freeze them.I will have to try that.

Thanks!

Oh my God, I am all about cafe con leche! Those look WONDERFUL!

it's just so yummy and when you make it a "special cafe con leche" even better!! :D

Guide to decarboxylation
In order to release the full potential of marijuana’s psychoactive effects, you must first go through a process called decarboxylation. It is highly recommended you do this before you begin cooking with cannabis.

Raw cannabis contains a lot of THCA which is not psychoactive (meaning it does get you high). However when you apply heat, such as a flame or vaporize, cannabis becomes ‘decarboxylated’ by the heat and at this point becomes psychoactive (get’s you high).

So, if you ingest cannabis and want the full psychoactive effect, you need to first decarboxylate before cooking with cannabis.

When it comes to decarboxylating, the lower the temperature you use, the longer the decarboxylation process is it’s going to take. However, this is not a bad thing! When using a lower temperature, you to lose fewer terpenes throughout the decarboxylation process.

Decarboxylation is a simple process:

1. Preheat the oven to 240° F. / 115° C.

2. Break up cannabis flowers and buds into smaller pieces with your hands. We use one ounce, but you can elect to do more or less.

3. Put the pieces in one layer on a rimmed baking sheet. Make sure the pan is the correct size so there is not empty space on the pan.

4. Bake the cannabis for 30 to 40 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes so that it toasts evenly.

5. When the cannabis is darker in color, a light to medium brown, and has dried out, remove the baking sheet and allow the cannabis to cool. It should be quite crumbly when handled.

6. In a food processor, pulse the cannabis until it is coarsely ground (you don’t want a superfine powder). Store it in an airtight container and use as needed to make extractions.

Hope this helps.

I would almost say it smells like its Vaping.
I like just opening the door to the oven and taking a big inhale.

I make infused milk also, but I use ice water hash. You can make it exponentially stronger and it will hardly taste like cannabis at all. You can even strain the hash after infusing, but I like the spicy aspect it brings to edibles. I make caramel mostly, and the hash acts as a flavoring agent. Raw cannabis, BHO, ISO and CO2 extraction all leave an unpleasant flavor on the palate, water hash does not seem to.
