Anybody have any experience with a pre made commercial rosin press?
Looking to buy one asap and thought I found what I was looking for but read a bad review and now doubting my decision. Anyone using one of these commercial rosin presses? Looking to spend under 5k but would possibly go higher if someone has something the love. This is what I'm looking at now.

well just remember these are all new tech and in super hi demand so if they are all 4 to 6 weeks out on production answering calls is prob not high priority for them.i know when im busy i dont return calls nearly as fast as when im looking for work.just about every press i looked at says 4 weeks or more wait time.

Rosintechnologies says about two weeks the other company drop ships from China in 4 to 6 weeks and another company can't even make a phone call. If your products are in such high demand that you can't make a phone call for 2 weeks I'd advise you to hire someone. I refuse to buy something from a company that has nonexistent customer service.

Personally, I am waiting for the market to work it self out here. Lots of illegal machines being sold right now. Those companies will go under as soon as they start getting sued.

Made a commercial 30 ton press myself, and so far better than any other I have tried. Cost around 500$ also, so that 3-5K price range your talking about is insane. Those machines are dirt cheap. Look at amazon, they have almost every press that is being used for rosin, for about 30% of the price. Those come with proper warning labels and safety kill switches.

Love to be proven wrong.

I'm not seeing anything like what I linked above on Amazon. I'm not the best at searching though. What makes you think that the company I linked above would be sued?

How are the machines illegal?

I bought a t-shirt press from Amazon for about 250$. The same exact model is being sold by many of these Rosin companies for 2, 3x as much. It works good. I have a 15x15 plate, which is way too big and lowers the psi too much. So I ended up getting a 4x4x1/4 steel plate for sqishing on, to up the psi. The T-shirt press doesn't apply enough PSI on it's own, so I used my wood clamps that apply 600psi each. So 1200 psi over 16 sq inches = 75 psi.

This works great with bubble. Bubble doesn't need the extra psi, IMO. Just needs a 25u rosin bag, and your good to go.

My larger press does wonders with flowers. Squishes the crap out of them, and is able to do volume. I have been getting a new technique down where I press the flowers into large pucks, then squish them in the press with heat. Been working great, and I yield almost 20% with my GSC. I don't really like the larger press for bubble, squishes too much.

What I will be looking for in a professional rosin machine would be:

Adjustable digital temps 175-500F

Adjustable PSI levels 50psi-5000+

Dual heating plates with two separate plugs if 120v.

Raised squishing area so rosin drips out away from heat.

When you make these machines, you have to test them to federal guidelines. Warning labels. Ext.

These guys are just buying from Chinese manufactures, the same ones on Amazon, and maybe putting a paint job on them, but they are not federally recognized. I will admit, I don't know the exact laws, but when doing my research many manufactures are very upset at the "rosin" guys for these reasons.

The one I linked above I think meets your standards . All American made they say and built to osha guidelines. Not sure if they are bs or not but they seem legit. I think it only goes to about 3000psi though.

Not unfounded. I just can't site the exact laws. Go ahead and google OSHA guidelines, and whatever else might apply to a company distributing these goods if your still interested. I am not going to pretend to be an expert, however what I said is by no means unfounded either. At least how I understand it.

Ok, this unit is almost there........

That plate is sooooooo small. What is that 2x4"? Ridiculous, imo. You are going to spend multiple thousands of dollars on a machine that only presses about 2 grams of bubble? My hair straightener will do that, NO PROBLEM.

I guess one more thing I would add to the list is a 5x5 plate minimum.

Correction max of 2400 psi. I'm so clueless when it comes to these presses , I feel like my brain is going to explode. All I know is i have a friend making excellent product with a hair straightner and I have a high demand for the product and want to hire him and get him going on quantity
