The best thing to do,trial and error.im not an outdoor grower but I think topping em a few times like you said to get the colahs smaller but more of.and id defoliate a shit load,more air flow,less chance of rot surely.that's what id try.good luck with wich ever way you go.have you lost crops already to bud rot?that's gotta be a killer after all that work and effort.

Yeah I have three 18 plant outdoor grows every year, last year I was hit hard by rot, but it is to be expected.

Buds are still not going to be as small as I initially intended, this is one of the small tops and it's going to get pretty big this is week 3 day 3 of bud phase, still 6 weeks and a half to go , this foliage is absolutely beautiful, the leaves are not burnt or crispy , they are just like this, I am in love with my blueberry cheese this run.

Nawh , I know you guys here are all about the indoor, I am the loan Sheppard tending the outdoor crops , this is the only thread I have found ware I actually have faith in the followers of the thread, plus I'm pretty versatile in horticulture, I can grow anything indoor and outdoor, pot, poppies, sunflowers , just a few with a purpose.

#Exposedroots cause issues, thanks to Homesteader I realized that I have just fixed the issue unknown to myself.

Yeah possibly, but I can't use anything nature doesn't provide at this point. This grow is the first of a kind for me 100% natural home grown organic compost and water is the only thing I am going with this time around, I have five years in this one grow. Everything is my own, from the seed to the Colognes right down to the soils, except for the pro-mix! I believe I have it worked out but if not I will absolutely take the advice and put it to good use.

Yeah when I saw the discoloration I thought I had some crispy fried leafs but when I touched them they were all normal like anything else on the tree. Tomorrow I will test all my levels and see if p is the issue.

How are you going to do that testing? IMO, I would order a 4lb bag of bone char from Fedco in Clinton, ME. Sprinkle a cup or two around the drip line of that plant and rake it into the soil. I believe you need something available fast (phosphate) and something like bone meal or rock phosphate will take too long for it to help much.
Your plants look healthy, they just may have depleted the soil more than you expected.

I'm not so concerned about it right yet , yesterday when I got back was there first drink in a week, I had exposed roots and I just stripped down the irrelevant foliage over the last two days. I'm going to go out on a limb and say she has had a lot happen to her in 48 hours, then colors weren't there before the drink, and I forgot to mention I turned my soil and added more compost and pro mix, pro-mix to cut the compost down significantly. My girls have been through a lot in two days.
