My friends are troopers.. we threw 17g of dried bud in 3/4 cup of oil and cooked her down... Added that to the brownie mix and cut into 15 pcs... we each ate 2 pcs... .. for a few seconds I thought I may have made a mistake. Me and one other guy looked the worst... made me question consistency between portions... but after the second piece everybody was totally fucked. ... figuratively speaking....

yeah edibles are hard to get consistent
the best way is to get gel caps and fill each one with 1ml of coconut oil that has been infused.....cool them and store in the fridge
the oil will harden....then you know how much oil per capsule and you take 1 ml at antime until it hits you as you want it to

I have a jar of trim and lowers ( fluffy buds) that have been soaking in Olive oil for a year. I had simmered it a little before I Jared it.
I need to cook with it myself,I keep forgetting I have it.

I would opt for 600
if you are gonna run 400....run a 400 bulb
dont dim a 600

got you.. But my question is weather a 400 over one plant closer to top of plant with light since less heat, would put out the same par/ intensity of a 6 further away? I mean there is only so much light a plant can utilize right?

a 600 puts out more par @ less watts than a 400 so no......as a matter of fact a 600 is better than a 1k in effeciency of par per watt

a plant can only take so much.....however....hps light band is very narrow
mostly orange....so to me there are many other bands of light that the plant can obsorb and utilize
with that being said.....lamps turn electricity into waves so the more watts....the more waves that the plants obsorbs
very technical....to explain but....it isnt all about par or light band.....it also has to do with intensity which a 400 just dosnt have

@Wisher619 U remember the video you had me watch about keeping the hps high until about the 3rd week of flower to aid in stretch. Should I be doing the same thing with the mh right now, or 12 inches off top of canopy as I have it now.
And lastly I read where it benefits the plant in veg to keep bucket filled to max as much as possible, where in late flower lowering the water level can induce tricome production.. your opinions?

I wouldnt run any light @12" I would run it @18" above canopy
when you switch bulbs and to 12/12 let the plant grow towards the bulb

that guy in the video was running 1200 watts open no cooling
so he had to have it super high
and lowered it to about 18-24" above canopy when all was said and done
anything lower and you can cause light bleaching

as for the bucket and water level
anything that stresses a plant supposedly helps with trichome production
the problem is...you have never ran this plant so you need her to be as comfortable as possible....and as you will see
in late flower she will slow her feeding and drinking so the level probably wont matter much.....as the plant will start to stall out and that is when you know she is done

Wow... My plants did slow there feeding to almost nothing...

18 to 24 inches... I will go with 18 for 600mh, and 24 for my 1000w hps...

I dropped from 122g to 96g on skunk 2.... just about ready to start the 2 week cure.. I'm just still a little unsure about what dryness level to start cure. I think I let my first one dry out to much before I started cure... I mean it was super dry..
Skunk 3 is in the tent hanging whole still. 63 degrees and 48% rh... been hanging since Fri night... fan leaves are super crispy but buds a till feel damp/fresh ....

You said when I flip it let plant grow to bulb..... As in 18'' away and let it grow to with in 12 then move light up or........
Put light 36'' away and let plant grow as much as it can up towards it then move it back down to 18" at end of stretch...?

The best part if what I heard was leave mh in there till after week 2 stretch to shorten nodes for fatter thicker buds.. yep that's what I want.. but I still need about 15 to 20 inches to fill canopy and reach 2nd Scrog net...

I'm hoping for 12" colas.. 36 sqs... At least this time I will learn about scrog and stretch and postioning for everything to end after stretch as even as possible.. I am gonna learn a lot this time... new things..

And I'm sure there is a next level of growing that I should be studying... Maybe starting off with nutes, and how you decide what veg 7.5/10/2.5. Calimag 2.5....
Now if I change one, it changes everything... I need to learn how them relationships work. How to understand how to tinker to specify certain deficiencies. ..
And last using foliar sprays during veg... and what's the next level of care I could be giving them....

I know it is best to try to keep them close between on and off... You think I am OK with this.... If anything if this was the veg tent I would probably just want to add a Lil humidity... But as this is the flower tent and we are just vegging in it, I probably want to run dehumidifier in tent with lights off...
So each tent needs different and both tents are in same room. I just see them conflicting with each other... too bad I couldn't somehow pull the humidity from lights off flower tent and add it to lights on veg tent...

When I bought my first tent(4x4) i got it used. When its shut the vacuum reduces it to 3x3.. it has been used and stretched badly.. I am gonna roll with it, thru this grow, and then for Christmas I am gonna trade it out for a new one. As much as I hate the price of gorilla tents, i think i am gonna go with one of them. I like the idea that you can get an 2' extension from 7' to 9'.. My room is 9'... this would allow me in the future to add a gavita to the flowering tent if I so chose. Being able to add that 2' seems like it could be real important one day...

I think any style of growing is easy to learn
what isnt easy is dialing in your enviroment

that is always the challenge

the nutes are gh recipe for recirc growing

canna stats has a calculator
you type in you #'s from the bottle and get the figures then you on canna stats where you want to be ppm wise for each stage
then you run your nutes through the calculator and see where you need to be to reach optimum levels

I use Spinosaid one week and Einstein Oil the next

Spinosaid kills any bugs and the Neem keeps them protected from critter who would love to munch on your leaves

I would actually just use that money to buy some material and build a custum grow cabinent
2x4's
subfloor sheathing
and 1/4" foam insulation with reflective backing
couple of gate hinges
a door nob or handle and lock
call it a day
but that is just me

My basement leaks really bad. I didn't know about it or didn't think it was as bad as it was. I can't really build anything upstairs, and I work in the garage way to much with my neighbor always coming over... S I that only leaves my room.. And my daughter comes for the summer so I got to have everything cleaned up and packed up... That's why I'm kinda balls to the wall for the time I got...
