I harvest forest microbes using rice but Im not sure you would gain any Mycos this way. I would imagine you could innoculate some grass near the tree and harvest the nodules off of the roots though?

Id like to move away from GH since they were bought by monsanto and I was looking at advanced's ph perfect for coco line.
Have you found a difference between AN's 3 part and GH's 3 part? It was rumored that AN would buy up smaller Nute companies and slap their labels on their finish up the old formula then replace with their "12 scientist lab cannabis oriented formula" lmao....

Ive never used AN, I was trying to research before popping
They make massive claims sell their hype and then work out the bugs bynthe time bugs are worked out the fucking name changes the label changes the ingredients change and they just want you to trust these fucking incognito oracle "scientist" when changing from one pgr to another and fuck them is what I'm trying to say...if they are not blatantly affiliated with Monsanto they are morally aligned with them...lol the only great products or formulas they have are ones they have bought and have not changed...think bud blood, powder big bud, hammerhead, scorpion juice then you know Advanced Nutrients...at best they are mediocre reverse engineer wannabe lab Chinamen

Next summer I will invest some time in different old growths and hopefully have a decent scope by then. I know walnut is toxic to other plants around it but I have a huge butternut that I may try this with.

"The trees produce the toxin juglone, which inhibits respiration in susceptible plants, causing growth to be retarded, stunted, or deformed. This can even kill some plant species."

"The extent of the damage depends on how resistant a particular species is to juglone, and the amount of physical contact the plant has with the black walnut roots. Root contact, or close physical proximity to the roots (within 1/4"-1/2"), seems to be necessary before the actual harm is done."

Look at the fucken rootbase on that oldgrowth tree in the graph up there ^^^^^ i am in awe man!
I highly doubt that the ratio of root depth is correct in that example. Deepest i've seen was on a 150 year old oak and the anchor root was only around 12' deep. most of the feeder roots where withing 3' from the soil surface.

Come on broski cant let you off that easy. You kick it off with your thoughts 1st. We can extrapolate from there. LOL I'm a big fan of fulvics over humics in hydro. Reason being is the fulvic acid molecule is smaller than humic acid and crosses the root cell membrane easier and aids in uptake. Just my .2 cents Least thats what I have read. Cannot confirm either way tho.
Just from my experiences with testing Bio-Ags ful/humix in a side by side. I absolutely saw no difference than my standard hydro nutrients in my hydro set-ups.
From what research I've seen, most state that Fulvics are more attuned to hardwood root system and humics are more attuned to soft wood root systems.

 1 of my pals used a hotbox in late flower for mite his bud tasted like a box of matches :)
Almost as bad as asking about powdery mildew on your 'tomatoe' plants and then purchasing 5 cans of dusting sulfur from home depot.

edit- Jumpin, PICNIC means the Problem is In the Chair, Not In the Computer. You don't want to hear that word when you are having IT issues. It's almost as bad as when the girl you're sexing has to spell the word 'run'.
