Well that's horseshit....many hospitals use donors to receive payment for those who can't pay as tax right offs. And the hospital bills for the uninsured tend to be massively rebated to a realistic amount. In Texas the average is 88% rebates for uninsured, instead of hospital mark ups. To say fuck the uninsured, well.....your a retard, think someone gets pancreatitis or an infection in the intestines ...they should die right? Your a fucked off mental midget. I hope you get sick and your insurance drops you. -crossing my finger-

Hate

It shows who is who here and in this world.....

A lot of folks are shocked, hurt sacred, not only in the USA, worldwide...
All the hate, fear, division will come to a head and fester like a carbuncle oh oh oh how nasty they are....
these old ways are not working.
It is up to US, ME and YOU!!! to create a new dawn free from the past that has never worked the endless wars, poverty, greed lies.
One by one we must unite and create our own little paradises...
Hit bottom and climb the ladder of true brotherhood peace and unity..
hate is never the answer.
Nor calling truly a good person pathetic, racist, your drunk, and other hateful messages that I received from a newbie fellow farmer which also shows who he really is..
Those many who really know me personally know who I am and what I stand for....
Will not be easy but we shall over come some day..
Ignore the hate, do not sucker in, I am learning, it is hard to do but we will learn how to deal with it as time go s by and folks realize who is who...

Karma will sort it all out as it always does, my friend.

We just need to sit back, watch the show, and protect what we have worked hard for.

Many are struggling for a perceived "Great". We already have it. Just laugh it off and watch as they spin their wheels waiting for someone else to fix their world. (never gonna happen)

Problems with the system is like your local municipality. you know 4 city workers standing around or i should say fucking around.
Sad truth is your Hospitals are over charging
there patients and getting away with it
they have to spent there yearly amount or next year they do not get the money.

The other day i lost it on my Fathers Doctor .
He called my father in for really nothing but to make sure he gets paid see that is how the system works

Its just plan fucking crooked
And rename it trump care.View attachment 646274

Anyways i am happy Trump is in people screaming he will start a war ? and he is crazy.
I actually think he will think about his Choices.
I believe were further away from War now then if Hillary had won . She is the crazy her and obama poking at the Bear ( Russia )
was just looking for trouble
Now maybe we an work together and clean up the real terrorists made by the former Government
Just watch how both countries now clean up the middle east properly

That is one step to a better world as a whole

mendel he sips the tit' of uncle thug ie: pension, medical all payed for when he's done .....and his heavy regulations and rules, taxes... does not care about the juice payments the cities / states are making on pension bail-in's every year as more taxes are jacked up for all this crap. our city is crying for higher taxes or the poor teachers will get fired. but the city insiders at the local pubs spill the beans about the nasty pension issues in our city of 45,000. he works for them ...

nothing but another tax upon the unwashed. he's blinded by the graft

You're a moron if you think I work in the public sector. I've been critical of your posts and now you make lazy accusations with no substance. I sip the tit of my own hard work in family businesses. If your blind ideology prevents you from understanding that most small businesses don't have retirement plans, I feel sorry for you. The average employer in this state has seven employees. Those small employers can't afford pensions when they pay high prices for things like payroll and health insurance, rent and other costs of running a business.

Your political bullshit is getting in front of your ability to reason. If you took the time and weren't so lazy, you'd see that we probably have a lot more in common than you think. I'm only a little bit embarrassed by that admission.

Washington (CNN)Donald Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway says the President-elect is considering calling a "special session" of Congress on the day he's sworn in to repeal President Barack Obama's health care law.

http://www.cnn.com/2016/11/13/politics/kellyanne-conway-trump-special-session-congress/

:smoking:

With help from Republican lawmakers, Donald Trump as president will follow through on his campaign promise to get rid of Obamacare, Sen. John Barrasso, an orthopedic surgeon for 24 years, told CNBC on Tuesday. Barrasso, the fourth-ranking member in the Senate GOP leadership. "Don't get fixated on some of this phraseology. Obamacare is over. We promised to repeal and replace it. And that's what we're going to do," the Wyoming senator said in a "Squawk Box" interview.

http://www.cnbc.com/2016/11/15/forg...-over-under-trump-sen-john-barrasso-says.html
If you think repeal is going to happen then you are completely clueless. Senator Barrasso does not have the authority to repeal, and politicians (and yourself) are unable to describe what repeal would even look like beyond talking about it. It's too easy to keep using it as a talking point to effect change as opposed to repeal. Changing the legislation could happen and will happen in some form, but the ACA will not be repealed. We can split hairs about what everyone means by 'repeal' but it doesn't change the fact that major parts of the ACA will not be going anywhere, such as covering adult children, covering maternity, and the removal of medical underwriting. There is no doubt that funding will be addressed, as the ACA does nothing to address the crisis of cost.

Xavier, EMTALA will continue to protect those without the ability to pay. Your insurance premiums will continue to rise to help cover the cost of uninsured folks who use the ER as their primary care doctor. The issue is that EMTALA is unfunded and the hospital has to cover the cost, hence five dollar ibuprofen tablets. Hundreds of tiny things like this drive the cost of health care up. Using the ER will cost you ten times what the same services would cost during a normal office visit. The ACA does nothing to help you here.

Repeal will happen as soon as Gitmo closes down like obama promised to do first thing when he got elected. Do you really think trump is going to follow through on all of the promises made during the election? That's rhetorical.

Well i do think that Trump will change the health are system with that cuts are gong to be from other sectors
like military spending , and who knows what else probably tax hikes.
with some places health are going up how much ??over 100 percent
Which ever way you look at it there has to be change its not working and was a sinking ship from the get go

Something simple instead of bailing out gov entities like US post that is a burden to all sell it off to private companies and get rid of the bad investment which the Government arries over every year
take that money and put it to better use like Health care

You go from repeal to change in one post? Your assumptions about the inner workings of American government are about as advanced as a child. I have these types of conversations with my 6 year old and they make more sense than this crap you are posting. I don't think you even know what you are talking about, and I don't have any kids. That's how much sense you make.

Your purpletrain is showing through. That, or your lobotomy was an astounding success.

/sigh. Ignorance is bliss.

I'm not going to further trade insults with a fool, and your last two posts have confirmed that you really have no fucking clue. I ain't got time fo dat. I'm not going to hold your hand, but find out what these ACA plans actually pay and then come back and tell me that obamacare feeds me. I'll be here.

You might consider staying out of a discussion if you can't keep up. You are unable to put together any rational reasoning behind your blind ignorance of the content of this thread, choosing the high school age insults of yore 'you probably do this' or 'you probably do that'. Keep up. You have to insult me this way because you simply aren't capable of critical thinking. That, and the fact that you obviously know nothing about healthcare or health insurance in Colorado, or the affordable care act or insurance in general. You simply take offense because you are a moron and you don't know why you don't know what you think you know, you just know that you are upset for being insulted. It's complicated. I'm still not sure why you are even replying in this thread, but I hope it benefits others. Stop repeating talking points you hear on cable news. I dislike your posts immensely but nobody deserves cable news.

It's okay that you don't know everything. I wish you were willing to put your money where your post is, but you aren't, so no bets will be made. No heads up for bankrolls. Obamacare doesn't feed anyone, and your ignorance shines through once again. Obamacare doesn't have a major impact on my business, and you'd understand this if you didn't act like the village idiot.

You hang your hat on 'you just might be back to food stamps' and I think you are trying to talk shit by saying nobody knows what trumps plans are as it relates to repealing the ACA? Sit down, this one might sting but I am going to ask you to think about something. What would repealing the affordable care act look like? What does the term 'repeal and replace' mean to you and what does it look like? How would it happen? What happens to everyone who has already signed up? What happens to those who have signed up that also have health conditions? What happens to all of the reimbursements, the paid and unpaid claims that are being incurred by insured members? What happens to the people who paid the fine and chose to go without obamacare? What happens to rates if we go from no medical underwriting back to medical underwriting? What happens to the 50 million dollars our state lost when Health OP got decertified by the division of insurance? What happens to the people who were left holding the responsibility of their medical bills when Health OP went out of business? Are you aware that unpaid claims from Colorado Health OP are the responsibility of the policyholder since there is no longer any insurance carrier? Don't bother, I know the answer. I'd love to talk employee benefits all day but insurance is boring most of the time.

Here's my point: We don't have to be inside trump's head to know that repeal is impossible. That you are unable to comprehend this is beyond me and my ability to explain what your healthcare delivery looks like now or in six months or when you grow up. That you don't even know what obamacare is creates a non-starter. Keep tossing those insults my way, I find it entertaining to see how ridiculously flawed you are. Good luck with that.

Back to the corner I go, where spell check still works.

In the Denver Business Journal today there is an article that shows how many people are employed by hospitals. The numbers are high, and I don't think they are all low wage workers.

Most Physicians on staff:
-Univ of Colo Hosp - 1,891
-Sky Ridge - 1,804
-Childrens - 1,637
-Swedish - 1,568
-Rose - 1,380

Most Nurses on staff:

-Univ of Colo Hosp - 2,084
-Childrens - 2,027
-Denver Health - 1,346
-Swedish - 967
-Presbyterian-St. Luke's - 823

edit-
Should Colorado be a single rating area?
Colorado has significant disparity in terms of healthcare costs – and thus health insurance premiums – from one area of the state to another. Rates in the mountain areas of the state are far higher than rates along the I-25 corridor, and although subsidies make coverage affordable for people who are eligible, there’s no assistance for someone earning more than 400 percent of the poverty level.

As an example, a 59-year old in Pagosa Springs who earns $48,000/year would have to pay $688/month (17 percent of her income) for the least expensive bronze plan available in the exchange. She would be exempt from the ACA’s penalty for being uninsured, and would also have access to slightly less-expensive catastrophic plans, but there’s no reasonably-priced health insurance option in this hypothetical case.

In an effort to address the disparity, Governor Hickenlooper signed HB 1336 into law in May 2016. The bill directed the Colorado Department of Insurance to study the impact of making Colorado one unified rating area, meaning that premiums would rise in the areas where they’re currently lower, and would fall in the mountain areas of the state where they’re currently higher.

The DOI’s report on the impact and viability of a single rating area was presented to the legislative committees in August 2016. The DOI did not recommend that the state become a single rating area, but recommended instead that the state work to find ways to lower the underlying cost of health care, since that’s what drives health insurance premiums. Insurance Commissioner Marguerite Salazar noted that a single rating area strategy could backfire, leading carriers to adjust their plan offerings or even leave the state altogether. A focus group to address the cost of healthcare is currently working, and will present their findings by the end of 2016. For the time being, Colorado remains divided into nine rating areas.

Dump your obama stock, if you followed me over the yrs, i explained and showed you guys how to exploit obamacare theft to make the money you lost on insurance payments. I killed it... get catepillar n j deer,, construction stock should be 30 - 40% of your portfolio,, HSA health savings acct stocks are killing it! 50% of portfolio.

Trump almost got this mess fixed before he stepped in the door, saved us from communism and we will soon get the pay raise weve been waiting for decades.
HSA stocks are paying upto 40%. Catepillar paying 10%.

And we dont have to listen to obama racism anymore which got trump elected
