Had the beast clone and the #3 out for feeding of the 2x feed.

20170205 214856

As you can see the beast clone in the 6k lumens per cu ft chamber is already showing a general lightening/yellowing of color.

While the #3 in the 1,333 lumen per cu ft chamber is still lush and green sharing the same feed as all the others. (had to turn 4 lights off bringing it down to 4 left. Tops were burnt)

The Beast itself is under the hps and a couple led supplemental 5k lighting 2,910 lumens per cu ft. So if anything she would be next inline to show a deficiency from high light density. But she has no signs yet. Carrying on as usual.

One of the accent plants is already showing signs of it too.

I also gave a top dress of fresh ROLS soil atop the beasts 10 gal pot. Not sure if it'll help but I figured I'd try.

Ok, ok...you've convinced me. I'm going to hook up on one of those 12 bulbs and fill it with those expensive ass colored bulbs(hi and icr the name lol) and see what happens.

The power veg? Or the agrosun sun bulbs?

Yeah I went for just cheap ones off 1000bulbs lol. I have the brand and links to the spec sheets of each bulb a thousand pages back somewhere.

I thing they were ge 800 series bulbs.
Like $2- $3 a piece.

So ideally some fancy expensive t5 bulbs would probably kick ass.

I'm just not ready to shell out $360 to outfit my 12 bulb lol.

So I've been thinking lately that the reason I get deficiencies in flower is because the plants daily light intake I so much higher than it needs.

So last grow and this grow I been working on pushing these nutes harder. And all gals this round have been fed every watering. Last couple feeds have been 1.5x feed.

This round I've mixed a double strength feed and I'm gonna keep it at 2x until I see signs otherwise.

The beast is huge and requires a lot of food. It's clone is already having lower leafs being eaten even at 1.5x feed. So. I hope all I've been needing is more food. This is the round to find out.

Last feeding I poured the extra .5gallon in the beasts drip tray. And after a couple hours the beast and the 3 accent plants had soaked it all up.

I think my plants are just hungrier than the average plant.

Hard to satisfy a beasts hunger.

Maybe your Nutes Brand is not concentrated enough? By reading most internet posts everyone seems to be using nutes at about half strength of what the manufacturer recommends, maybe some have started to weaken their products as a market response ?

It becomes cheaper for them and we might start using full doses making the products last less and cost more money over the long run.

is this the first time u did this technique ?....think i started watchin ur thread right when u started this project...its lookin sexy now....awesome work man ~ i see pom comin...props

This specific round with the beast is the first time I've done it in this manner.

My first few grows were mainlined.

And once comfortable I was able to kind of freehand my idea of what I wanted. I took my practice with the training techniques and put them into 1 plant.

So this technique I just developed myself you could say.

I am very much happy with it.
Just took a bit of patience.
