Got one last question before bed. I'm seeing a lot of new white hairs coming in? Is this because of the mh?
What is the negative effect of using mh in flower?
Should I switch back to the hps for this last week?

constant clean airflow is a great defense against pm. the temp spikes/swings cause condensation on the leaf, and bam! pm arrives. great airflow keeps any moisture from accumulating on leaves. with 3 fans, proper spacing and pruning, you're in good shape. I dose incoming clones with eagle 20

From what I've read I agree. It's comfortable in there. My exhaust has even shut off a couple times which means the temp dropped to 73... It's a much cooler night that the last few...

Could just be genetic. My auto did good under mh.

lmao! You'll figure it out with hiding the room Macgyver I know you will! I'm with Incogneato on this one saying it's mostly genetics or a combo of genes and a tad of localized heat. With strains that are known to foxtail I've heard that is a contributing factor. Nice looking flowers though. Some fatty chunksters.

oh yeah and the reason why you are seeing new pistils.....plant is still growing

got a ways to go

nice and chunky

when most of the pistils curl back into the calyx and start to turn orange or brown tou will know you are close to chop

I would probably really taper off the feed real soon and allow them to cannabalize the large leaves.....basically let them die on the vine

I def prefer not to, but I havent had a single clone yet not get pm within a week of bringing them home. Just one dose at clone stage, and it metabolizes out of the plant in 30 days. All good

They use the stuff in lawns, golf courses, landscapes, etc so we're all probably subjected to it at some points in our daily lives.

yeah but we usually dont smoke lawn or shrubbery

the only time I ever hear people using it....usually industrial grows.......is for clones......that are turned into mothers....

just saying.....that nasty stuff is banned in the industry......but hey......as long as you are testing to make sure there is no residue before given or sold to others or even consumed yourself.....

yes, i am very new at this, learning as I go, have had some decent bud but would like more yield out of my plants....I use HP soil. 1000w light for the bloom and 400w for the grow stage. I was told to use the hydroplex from week 1-5 and kool bloom from week 5-7 to harden the bud up. I don't understand why sometimes the hairs on the buds start to go brown way earlier than they should...I try to go with a feed, feed, rinse routine. I was also told that cal/mag is needed, as well as the liquid karma..so am I wasting money or will these actually make a difference. as written above...so I should just need the GH 3 part with kool bloom? what about a mist sprayer or anything like that. on top of all this, I do occasionally find that 1 or 2 plants may hermie. which is very annoying.

Im aware some states banned it, doesnt mean it cant be used safely if used as directed. The leaves that were sprayed arent even on the plant anymore. Appreciate the concern though bud. Cheers!

feed koolbloom week 4 only

or just go by the gh feed chart for drain to waste

really if this is your first time you really should stick to bare basics

when you get a hang on it you can start to experiment and venture out on the nutrient tip

but also do as much research on those nutrients as you can

if you can get on this site you can type in Liquid Karma review on cannabis

to me it is a really high priced.....ehhhh

So these pics show what i did if you can make it out in the pics. I took super auto and bent his scalp back like a wave ALL to one side. That allowed me to have enough canopy room to put my 1000 watt super horti hps bulb in. Everything has between 18 and 24 inches... So we will see what happens!
