Ok @jipp

Here is a difficult seedling with problems from the start. She fell out of her shell when I picked her up after taprooting.

I have never seen this happen before. I am by no means a large or experienced grower but I have germinated a few hundred seeds so far.

She came out backwards.

So I planted her a bit shallower than usual hoping she could push up through the dirt but here she is a week later. All stretchy and now that I watered she can't even hold herself up.

So I made her a crutch out of a paper clip. This is all new to me. I am guessing what to do as she is an s-1 seed from a fantastic plant. A POW 33 x Blue Lemon Thai. It was a project and never produced for sale and I loved the first one.

No other seeds were found that I am aware of from her.

She seems to be gaining strength. See the evidence I watered too soon. It was 5 days since I watered the cup in and planted her. Now it's 7.

Just for comparison.

This is a healthy Herijuana x Jack33 seedling. She is 10 days old. This is normal for my propogator.

The s-1!was doing better before I watered. If I had waited the full 7 days I think she would have been fine.

Lesson. Don't panic. Be patient.

I will post the results.

well i have two more tap roots. need to plant them bitches dismoring.

well i got 100 percent germination this time. woohoo.. party, ill partake in a vape i will.. pats self on back. hah.

so i have lots of variables wrong with my tent as its not setup.. so its sorta silly for me to specialte what is the main cause of slow groth besides over watering etc..

but one thing i know i never confirmed the perlite i used was not treated the same as mirrical grows.. so i germinating 4 seeds.. decided these last two i would just use st rait up soil.. and see if that helps.. its a easy variable to check.. hopefully i can get my water check today i think i fucked up and grab water from the wrong facet.. if i did that means iv been water my babys with salt soften water.. evil shit i tell ya. hah

but yeah hope i can get water check either today or sunday.. i will be grabbing 1 gallon pots, and a filter for a box for the fan.

so tap root up, shallow, little water, lets hope for green stems on the sprouts.

Yeah that is good advice. And if still seedling I've used a dropper . Light little sprayer . I have been through the process and failure . Good luck and good vibes

Like when you pick it up you will be like......oh shit. I better water. It will pick up pretty much weightless at that size.

And like I said. Compare a cup of dry soil to the seedling cup.

Honestly I felt like blowing a few bucks today, been working like a machine. I only grabbed the hygea hyradtion because it was there lol. I'm in a coco mix or I wouldn't use as much of their line. I did start some clones in soil, I love how easy they are to keep happy! I actually intended to be in soil but due to my lack of knowledge and rushing I ended up in coco lol. The main reason I went in was my cheapo pH pen broke (thankfully) needed a t5 for my veg tent and boom!

They say soil is good for beginning and .easy . I use soiless medium. Pro-Mix BX. Medi one is a great nute and is all organic .

@420 lyfePpP how are you dis morning dude? hope all is well and you are not freezing. just got back from a quick morning walk.. and all i can say is ho0w did i live with out a vape pen.... it rocks made walking less painful.. and pretty discreet.

can do oils/hash/shater etc.. im gonna need to get some bubble bags and rosin plates. :D

Hard to see with the old school hps on but they sure look happy.

And thanks for the compliment on the advice. Just passing on what I learn and experience like all of us. I got plenty of it from here for years before I joined.

No she was treated just like the healthy one. Plenty of light. I suspect it has to do with the shallow planting so the cots and root could push through with no seed still attached.

I really did not know what to do or how to handle it if it worked. I think she will root. And I will just bury her an extra inch when I up pot. Her leaves are larger and less deformed looking already. And she is standing a little stronger. I hope. Lol
