so i see a lot of threads where people say to never just straight water in coco....i personally do a feed...feed...water...feed....feed...water....and have never had issues.

So now im interested to hear why people are saying this...the way i see it is if your not flushing the pot right out there is still food there and it helps to keep clearing some salts as i go...

It all depends on how hard you push the nutes.

Well straight RO water is impossible to Ph adjust so I never feed straight RO. I suppose tap water is fine because of the minerals and additives. Honestly I keep it pretty simple and feed the same nutrients veg through flower at 1.2 ec three times daily. Too many people treat coco like soil when it's truly a hydroponic medium. Treat it like hydro to and you'll get hydro results. I don't flush but I do just do a very light feeding the last few weeks to bring out some nice colors.

Here is a shot of a plant that was an experiment on anthocyanin production in relation to nutrient types and strengths. This one went 4 weeks with plain tap water only.

Their plan is to inject chlorine closer to the source....so the licence will be getting revoked because it wont help to the effect they are thinking it will....back in the 70s anywhere in the province was testing up to 5400 ppm so it has improved :D

No saskatchewan canada.....farming is what the cause of the problem is.....they farm land too close to water supplies
Thats a shame.... happens down south too. ..theyll run the soil into dirt for 10 years for money then spend the next 100 years figuring out what went wrong.
