yeah i cut a bud off to see what the humid is. and i left itin the jar for a few hours and the humid was 80 percent. sp the plants needt o hang for a few more days. but now im trying to save the bud.. so last night i removed it from the jar and put iti a bag over night then jar and waiting for the humid reading in 2 hours. all i can say iv learn from the bud i cut off is i have lots of resin so i did good on the kush.

chris.
at 62% Rh you can jar, but you will need to burp I suspect. I wait till I get a snap but not a break off on the twigs, then i jar, I watch it tho and if worried I burp the jars for as long as it takes, i also remove it and place in a brown paper bag to redry a bit for re jarring. just keep it cool and keep it in the dark while you do these things

@Ecompost when i run out of the micro/tea im using ill be coming to you for my new micro/tea. i like soil.. im learning to be a lazy farmer. let mother nature do the work and shit. even tho i have to say hydro could be fun just because you could learn so much.. by removing elements and see what the plant does, unlike me learning what the plant does as i fuck up. heh.

but yeah man i dig the soil grow so far..

chris.
thats how you learn,by screwups bro

hydro is subject to energy which not many people control. Whatever its benefits, no one without serious investment, can get away with hydro in a power cut :) Soil and microbes is the past, present and future of growing imo
all it takes is water and love,,were i live ,they have brown outs, thats what they call it,,suposedly because of to much and to many folk using it,,bull shit another way to control,,sun and water and them hands does the trick

yes sir, the more sunlight we can capture in plants, the more food we have, the better the air quality

the ancient romans were bad ass farmers or at least stole the needed info to grow a shit load of food.. think they fucked with micros with out knowing it?
yes mate, anyone growing in nature is growing with microbes, even people in hydro are too as there are many microbes that will be in the water and the rockwool and air and so on. Ask anyone who had Botrytis or other, thats a microbes plant pathogen loads of people get in hydro

bacillus subtilus will convert it to FeO for your plants or use kelp to pick up any shortfall in Fe this might deliver mate
top dress? i have soaker hose running the length of my beds, keeps from burning them leaves,,i got plenty of kelp, and will sure enough give it a try,,but havent seen any bad issues other than no fruit, finally figured out my tomato, plant leaves rolling,,i just quit watering them as much and they straighten right up,,the initate and media pro straighten up that one we talked about,,so i cut down on watering and it growing finally

yeah they are very sensitive to temp and the needs do change as the temp increases. We got wilt early on, then we added KAMINO and the sun, cleared up the wilt and they are growing well again. When we got here we had to buy compost, it was tainted with the sclero mold so baked in to the tomatoes we grew in it. It has been successfully arrested now and we will produce seeds which should be more tolerant next year.

you add the kamino to the floret,,i do add kamino into my water only times, use it about every other week, just so the fruit will stay fresh longer,,i havent tried it in my kelpand alfalfa tea though

I add KAMINO in spring ahead of planting to increase antibiotics in the soil, it also has common bio control for white molds, fusarium and wilt etc, but this needs to be added before we plant to get the best benefit. It also has higher levels of acetic acid which helps control weed growth so is great early doors, and can be used as low as 5c soil temps.
it contains many L-aminos one in particular meets with the acetic acid to produce Aspirin. Aspirin increases the plants systemic response and sweetens the fruit in tomatoes and other fruits by triggering transcription factors relating to terps and flavs

but doesnt asprin make the plant go into defense mood ,,snap that would make a increase ,,i be alright, lmao. i got to get stocked soon,,want a jump on this shit when time comes,,i want to stay organic,,so far i have ,bettween your stuff and grinds and veggie scraps been doing okay,,i got a month delay on the garden this year and sure has shown my lack of getting shit done,,want happen coming season,,hoping on this fall garden to do well,,i still got 1 more big bed to do,in big garden,,about 30ft x 20ft and im done down there,,waiting on cooler weather to start mamas garden up top,,figure 6,55gallon plastic barrels cut in half or 4 2ft wide by 2ft deep by 12ft long concrete beds,,and im going with a arch tressil for climber,,were she just walk under it and pick the beans or whatever,,that be a winter project for sure, lmao

at what rate do you add the kamino and how often,,are we talking about feeding cover crops till planting time?

KAMINO can also help reduce the threat of degradation of THC and other valuable canna isomers (CBD) into less desirable forms, eg CBN even after harvest. It does this via another microbe which restricts the mass accumulation of ethylene, so we can take advantage of the additional bud set sites offered by the yeast interactions, while preventing the yeasts from stalling the production of valuable sugars which would otherwise be used to create the alcohol which ultimately ages our plants. Similarly, we can use KAMINO as a foiliar to convert spent methane, present during transpiration and convert this to CO2 for further use by our plants.
Adding trichoderma to the leaf area with KAMINO also helps prevent other molds and limits biting insects by altering the GI tract pH making our plants indigestible to say caterpillars. Always helpful.

its not a fail safe but it the best we got in the face of the determined nature. I always use it. on pot i stop at about day 21 bloom to help restrict the delay in ripening otherwise continued use would stimulate. Its not a problem if you have time. :-)

get that comfrey fermenting, its rich in bio control buddy and helps soil K levels :-)

you grow good mate, you can always just put 1/2 soluble asprin in 1L of water, 2.2 piuts this is US and foliar your tomatoes to get a similar effect to that offered by KAMINO in terms of SAR. Barley tea will give you JAR :-) salicylic acid and Jasmonic acid response(s) this shit gives you more trichomes per mm of plant

at what rate do you add the kamino and how often,,are we talking about feeding cover crops till planting time?
yes we are, we are talking about countering the threat of pathogen spores when they are most likely to impact us. So we are firing nano spear guns from defending microbes in KAMINO to knock out pathogens before we add a plant, then we keep adding KAMINO weekly. We shut off depending on the plant and desired timeframe to harvest. Using it slows the ripening of all crops that ripen. So cutting it about 5 weeks before harvest date seems to be about the best spot for most ripening type crops including cannabis and tomatoes mate.

ya i used it my last grow,,i wanted them to slow a bit,,damn that coco worked the shit out of me,,never again,,i use it sometimes to help in moisture and air,,but running herb in it again hell no,,and tell you what the kamino use was a big difrence in the taste too,,i got 3 going now,,dont have a clue what they are,,mama handed mne 4 seeds and said plant them,,asked her what they were ,she said weed,,crazy ass chic,,but they all came form all you guys to structure and growth, yall have to tell me,,i tell yal;l what the taste and higggggh is,lmao

i havent been able to decide what type bariley to use,,cracked or whole whats your opinion,,i mainly want to use it in tea
