The secret is to get the very top leaves or your wasting your time...

Cool so basically try to get the stem of the upper most leafs even if they are pretty small..

Just finished my dwc veg setup with 5.5" cch2o net pots.. pretty stoked on it. Even learned how to plastic weld on a couple spots where the plastic cracked a little while I was cutting it..

Has it been super hot down there too? We got RECORD temps this weekend. And I don't mean like record for the day. I mean the hottest day we've ever seen here where I live. 105. I'm 5 min from the bay it's never been that hot

Some of my seedlings had a rough few days and some blew up. Lol. Also my in ground girl LOVED it and my coco pot girl was ready to throw in the towel. Poor thing is hurting this weekend.

Weather just broke tho. You can feel t in the breeze. Shouldn't be too bad anymore.

we never go above 80
usually 65-72 all year round
all my girls outside loved it
my indoors loved it
my tomatoes wanted to die
my ghost chili's went berzerk

How much did it costs for new lids that are 5.5?

The lids were like 150 and the net pots were like 100$. But in the end the space it saved me was well worth the $.

I plan to do the same thing, but use my net pots in a 4x4 flood table. Im pretty sure I can get 8 net pots in there, so 6 clones and 2 mothers...

I used a jigsaw lol didn't feel like finding/buying a 5" hole saw..

The most expensive part was buying the lids for my flower tent buckets to convert them to the 5.5" netpots. But yea pretty cheap simple setup (aside from the cch2o parts), hopefully one GH dual diaphragm air pump can handle 20 gallons cause that's all I got.

ya I dont feel like giving up the money for new lids..
And I got enough hydroton already to fill the 8"...

Fucking pain meds made my stomach constipated,
and the last thing on Earth you want to do after surgery,
IS STRAIN! :fire:
But spoon full of castrol oil, shot of mylanta, glass of metamucil, :puke2:
and Im doing better for the moment...
Fuxck life is hard... :crying2:
When I have to go thru these hard situations it makes me realize
how lucky I am to have days that the only thing that is hard,
is the physical labor of my job..
And for as badass as Ive been all my life(legend in my own mind) :badboy:
Im taking a real ass whooping by father time.. :cry::cry:
