Well its only 2 foot long lol
Im having him get a 6 bulb t5 4 foot long..
He gets 2 for that price.
Thats 600 watts worth..
The problem with hid is the heat esp in a small tent..
If heat is an issue then he has airy buds that are foxtailed..
He only has one way to win
And thats with quality!
He has to have better that whats in his market...
I wont lie

I had the only purple in town this year

But won't a 6x bulb 4' t5 have just about almost as much heat as a vented 400w hid? My 400w gets my room to about 80 with a fan and non insulated ducting (about 30' worth of ducting) I'm not trying to disagree with you either brother and honestly I see it more as a discussion haha.. I just want @Snakeskins to be happy with what he gets.

My closet is only 20" in depth. I don't even think I can fit a 6-tube lamp

How's he fitting that 4 ft light in a 3' tent?

Open wing 400 hid with a passive intake in his tent. If price is really he only thing holding up I can get you a 6" can fan for super cheap. You just gotta be serious and pay it forward down the road. Get everything together and if the fan is the o ly thin holding you up we make that happen. Don't waste money on a shitty fan. Get a can fan or equivalent

This way you need no ducting taking space. Get a carbon filer if smell is a prob and attach fan and filer outside the top corner of tent. Pull air thru bottom flap.

But wish and event are right about the t5. You won't go wrong. I don't encourage going rogue if they're gonna walk you thru it. Lol. But if I had a 3x3 tent that's what I would do. If the surrounding area isn't hella hot the passive intake with a good fan will do the job. Clip fans for circulation. One bag wing at very top of tent and the rest of the space is plant.

Here's the plan. I take the shitty flowering plant and the clone that is in the closet right now and I put them in to flower along side the one good female in the tent. Meanwhile I start making clones with the cfl panel that I made. It will start them out at least.
