Hey @EventHorizan I’m about to replace my light ducting with insulated early next week, do you think it would be worth it to replace the ducting to and from my a/c box with insulated ducting as well? Or would that be pointless?

Gettin shit done today.
Gonna get the gavitas hung today
Then I'm gonna spend next 1-2 weeks before flip preparing best I can forbthe gavitas
Like you said event we don't have a try dry run but I amb going to move the plants for 1 day and get an idea. It will also allow me to clean up my dripper lines.
Remember we have a crash helmet. Hahah.
I also was thinking as a part of our crash helmet if the temps are too high but not outrageous I can run 1 gavita over a 4x4 and my air cooled hood with the can fan over the other. Pulling air from outside in an always shaded very cool spot straight out the other end. I have no doubts I can cool it that way and I'll get a half assed side by side lol

Also got my +LIFE in the mail so I will feed today with pure blend tea and +LIFE.

awesome little Saturday

I would take your biggest baddest fan and use it to extract air thru a T .
On each end of the T, run ducting so that each end sits right above the gavita ballast, or hood, or closer to bulb.(test each to see whats best position)
Just use aluminum ducting non insulated from lights to T. Then T hooks right straight to can fan and u use insulated ducting from it to out side.
You then take your next biggest fan and u unstall it low down on the wall pulling air from outside.
You would need a INLINE carbon filter for flower.
I dont think your AC can handle that cooling and with the fans hooked up this way it will prob run just as cool as it would with the AC on since it will be sucked out almost instantaneously..

Hard to get a good pic from the other side of box but basically there is a 6” duct coming out with a 6” inline hurricane fan as the intake for the tent..

The 6” duct you see in pick is pulling air from tent and pushing it through scrubber.

Here is inside the box.. (6” duct intake is right on the other side of dehu)

yes all insulated!!!!!
2 questions.
What controls all of these? Ac, Dehuey?
And what is the circular hole on outside of box in 1st pic? it looks like you may have it blocked off?

And what is your rh and temps? And are they steady or do you have fluctuation?
If so how big of flux?

Hole in side was where I had the exhaust from tent originally until I decided to move scrubber from tent to box.. lol..

Sentinel chhc-4i controls dehu + a/c & the fans run 24/7. I had the fans on a timer during earlier veg to keep Rh up. Now it’s pretty stable though, my rh stays around 60 ish my temp stays around 81 during day. But the are still pretty small..

And what type of tape did you use?

Gorilla lol..

What size was your can fans?

Unfortunately this is about the best you can do too homie..
With your environment.
Your gonna be at the mercy of the rh and temps outside..
just got to move air as quickly as possible.
Biggest extraction fans you can get!

The only next step after that is sealed,
and that requires c02, and a mini split...

Thats what happened to me too..
So sealed is where im at now..

Awesome , awesome, and awesome,

Yea I know I should’ve used that type of tape instead.. I think I just needed gorilla tape in general and so I just got a roll of that instead.. lol

Bout to change up the fans a bit though.. the 6” hurricane for the intake is bout to change to a 6” booster, the 8” scrubber+fan I’m changing to 6” scrubber+fan... I think it’s just too much air movement right now, the 6” hurricane for the tent intake is blowing too hard on the plants..
