I'm not familiar with Thug pug but
Unless thug pug has mother father cuts from ggg it's just bag seed.
Than you dont know shit cause he was a tester for GGG for a long time.He has the legit GGG cuts.Like GU was a tester for JJ of TOPDAWG seeds and landed a fire chem male to breed elites.

Run off... Ha I have none, no flush, no ph.
Sorry I don't feed nutrients or grow a plant, I build my soil and let the soil grow the plant... Just like the outdoors.

How dry! I keep a constant moisture level
So your pots dont have holes in them?you have to have runoff to release the excess salts aka waste..Kinda like in the wild ya know soil dont sit in a giant ass plastic pot.It drains to underwater wells. It uses the beneficials and everything else drains through.I seriously doubt you have grown anything and your just a straight up noob here spouting off BS you read on other forums.

Sorry I don't know all the testers. And all I said was unless they have the cut, it's bag seed. And apparently they have the cut.

The thing rattling around in my head is that by the time a plant tells me it needs something it's already too late and should have been given to it well before then. If my leaves are telling me the plant is thirsty then the plant is already too dry.

yeah thats called reactive growing vs proactive. That dude is lost in the sauce.Especially with soil cause in dirt shit you did or didnt do 2 weeks ago will start to show up 2 weeks later. In Hydro especially DWC you can fix an issue with a simple pull of the plug and refill. If you have cal mag issues in DWC you can drain the system and add in the right amounts or just up your dose from 2 ML per gallon to 4 ML per gallon and the problem is fixed. In soil it can get all janky in a hurry and its almost impossible to tell if its from to much or to little cause the soil drainage and how much water your letting run off is the key.this dude really did say to use a pressurized sprayer to shoot water on your plants under a scrog and blow dirt and shit all over the place,

I dont mind soil dont get me wrong i have grown some really nice shit in it but to me it was just not fun anymore but just to much work.Watering every 3 to 5 days all them pots and dumping out all the runoff and guessing on nutrients cause like i said it takes about a week to burn plants. In DWC if you put 2500PPM in there you'll have fried plants in 24 hours guaranteed.Soil tends to creep so its harder to pinpoint specific issues unless you already have a proactive plan in place and know how to really dial in a soil grow.Just trying to wrap my head around the years of growing in dirt I just cant go back to that route. In Hydro I NEVER have any issues at all.My leaves will stay pretty and green untill i pull them off.Never any calmag problems or any of that BS ever.Once you get your system set up its just following a game plan after that.

I grew these in dirt and it was fun but i just dont have the time or the patience to get mind fucked by a dirt pot anymore.

Salts!? What salts? You only flush out salts cause you put them in there from the bottled nutes you're buying!
Flushing is another cannabis myth!
Flushing the salts you put in also takes nutrients with it... unless you think flushing will only take salts away!?
Prove this with scientific information, or keep relying on companies marketing for science!

Never grown noob, spouting off BS from other forums ha
You obviously haven't done any proper research. When people want to learn they're open to beliefs, teachings, opinions, facts, thoughts...etc
Tell me some books you've read!
Or go grab your bottle of nutes and tell me what each ingredients purpose is!
But I'm sure you're into cal mag, Epson salt, ph, keep everything sterile, no bugs and whatever other BS that's out there!

How's that different than the way you check? If you check your soil and it's dry then it's too late, right?
But it's not to late, it's communication! Hey I'm thirsty! If you ignore your plant then it will become a problem

Hey guys, I just finished my first grow and I'm a bit disappointed due to small yield, I ran 8x Critical in 4x4 tent 3gal pots under 600W HPS, vegged them for aprox 1 month and flowered for 60 days, I just don't understand what I fucked up, I managed to pull 20grams a plant that's an aprox final yield of 160+ grams, and I thought this plant would be a decent yielder or I dunno, maybe it's my first grow and I made mistake at some point.

So for my next grow, I got Critical Kush from barney's farm this time, different genetic, maybe it will go better this time, I plan to scrog them, but I am unsure of number of plants, and pot sizes, to maximize my yield in 4x4 area and get the bang for my buck.

So my options are these: 6 plants in 3 gal pots or 4 plants in 5 gal pots, either option will recieve training, top at 5th node, then wait to grow till screen and start weave etc.

So? 6 plants in 3 gal or 4 plants in 5 gal? Any other advices are welcome on how to maximize my yield in 4x4 area under 600W hps or strains recommendations that yield high and have high thc just like this critical kush.

I'd be less disappointed that you got only 160g and more glad that you didn't kill the plants on your first grow like me :)

Well brazel's right about not needing to flush properly grown organic soil grown plants.

It still doesn't change the fact that leaves showing what they need is not a good sign. And I can tell what the moisture level is by checking it and then watering it accordingly. It is different in literally that way.

If you're going off leaves reactions then you are definitely not keeping an even moisture level.

A pressurized sprayer emits a mist and that mist allows you to properly hydrate your soil. When you pour water on soil it drains thru channels! Do a test for yourself take some dry soil pour water on it reach your hand into the soil pull it up you'll have a bunch of dry with a little bit of wet.

I don't know anything about burning plants or whatever you're talking about I amend my soil with fish bone meal, gypsum, ewc neem, basalt, malted barley powder...etc

I only use plain water through veg and flower, the whole cycle nothing but plain water.

What I did it or didn't do 2 weeks ago will show up in 2 weeks!? Again I build my soil with everything in it already the plant chooses what it wants or what it doesn't want that mentality that you're thinking comes from your way of growing cuz you try to grow a plant by by chasing deficiencies giving this and that.

I'm not trying to be negative rude or discourage anyone, anyway you want to grow cool with me

That is true in regards to watering but if you don't want to be there all day the only way to water and number of plants or any amount of soil is with a dripper or soaker system. I literally tried that because I was having trouble with what you just said. It took forever just to water one plant in a 5 gallon container and it made a mess all over the grow room.

I also had severe water problems being on well water and without RO water things would die on their own in no time regardless of what I did. Sounds like you got some good water.

It is time consuming but I find it meditative. The first watering takes a long time but your watering after that will take less of time. Blumats are pretty dope!
RO water is too clean, it removes the Bad and the good a better alternative is a filter that removes chlorine chloramine and heavy metals like a carbon filter

How did it make a mess? you put the sprayer over the soil pull the trigger when you're done release the trigger

That'd be great if just a carbon filter would purify my water enough but it doesn't. Have a huge mineral load in the water here. Couldn't control my PH regardless of a KDF-85 carbon filter that is made especially for taking out heavy metals and chloramines. Went to RO, never had problems since.
