Should i have the fan on the same timer w the light or should the fan stay on at all times?

We are actually gonna put the fan on the timer with light for the first few weeks. I dont want it freezing the plants at lights out with all that air flow..
In a couple weeks we will hook it for 24/7

I need to get a warmer light in my veg tent.. it’s only like 68/69 in there.. could be part of my problem with the leaf curl?

What would did we say a goal temp wpuld be inside the tent? Mine is sticking between 76-78°. I added a 4" fan i picked up to one of the other vent holes in the bottom of the tent forcing more cooler air from the room into the tent. We will see if that will get the temp down a couple degrees.

Yup, mh bulb is in. Well the timer im using only has 1 plug on it. Would it be safe to plug a surge protector into the timer and plug the light and the fan into that surge protector?

Doing a good job wood!
As you can see on the seedlings, they are a lil long legged and skinny,
because they stretched because that light wasnt close enough but we didint have no idea how close to have it..
So see how we have to trial and error to know what to do?
Next time we use that led, we put it like 12 inches from them and see what results we get from that!
So now your goals is tyo get the light down to with in 24 inches.
Tomm if you can watch them a little, move down to 30 inches and watch..
If good come tues, we drop to 24 and watch

naw, just leave it hooked constant then,,
It will be all right..
Find something to set your saucers on so the cold floor dont cool the cup and the coco to much at lights off.

Do keep in mind that as we drop drop the light, as well as increase the wattage, the coco will dry faster, and you may need to water the coco every day.
For now stay the course for another week on watering every other day.,,,,,,,

Hmm I’m starting to think it’s root problems.. the last couple plants in the cloner were starting to not look happy.. it was probably a bad idea but the obiwans & Jawa Pie cut were both whole plant clones because I was changing the mediums I was using and they were not big enough to take single clones from.. I should have shaved the skin off the stems before putting them in the cloner..

I know right lol.. on grow weed easy it says heat stress or root problems or humidty... heat and humidity are both in check..

What are your temps? How many watt light/how high is the light above the plants?

@Toph420 one leaf on my friends plant started looking just like that last night so if you figure it out let us know. We're hoping it doesn't get worse. My first thought was low humidity but just a guess. He's running a 600 hps in a 2x4 and the plants are getting to within about a foot of the light now.

That scrog got 2 layers? Or did you just get lucky with height?

Mine are already 5-6" above the scrog and there's not a whole lot more I can do in terms of pulling. Was going to add a second net but not quite sure what height to put it at above the current

Once you have every hole filled theoretically you want them to stretch 6-8” or more above the net. Will really help yield since under the net won’t have great light. A lot of people put a second net 6-8” above the first but mostly for support as the colas should be growing that high or a little higher above the first net.

Well I ended up with 14 top buckets and 17 bottom buckets, so I have a 14 bucket system instead of 24..
Well I knew it was kinda too good to be 100% true..
But it looks as tho everything else is there..
Well I guess I got my moneys worth..
