Well error codes are game breakers..
So put a ballast on a timer to come on and off every 15 mins..
Lets run it thru some cycles.
Same hood and same bulb..
Run 4 cycles..
With each ballast..
Should take 6 hrs to complete..
Run a 1000 watt bulb...
Note if it fails on either off or on cycle...
But let it run its cycles regardless...
Start wth the ballast that you think works the best to lay our benchmarks.

I did end up using the florakleen for the last 1.5-2days.. flushed for 5 full days w/ RO. I suspect i will get more colors from running it in the coco but yea i smoked some last night and it tastes pretty clean/good.. Pretty happy with the outcome so far.. I think the main thing that helped is the drying process, i used my fan speed controller and turned my circulation fans down to like 50%.. Might even keep that setting for when I put plants back in there..

The Chemdog #4 from my last round was 100% dried out by this time and i had probably 2-4x the amount of nugs.. these probably have another 3days left of drying..

Will do. I will go kick them off later this afternoon. I don't recall right now if it was 2 out of 3 or 3 out of 3 that put up the "E-04" code at some point but it was always at startup, just after plugging it in ans before the lamp lit.

QUESTION: since I don't have the fan to cool the yet, is the best way to ensure they don't get too hot to place them upside down on the concrete and run them with the glass off/open?

Yessir. Have even designed 10 wildcats, 3 of which we've built into rifles and one of which still needs to have pressure testing completed, but has posted some very impressive numbers... good fun! Also hunted 3 states and Africa all too briefly.

May not get back with the results until tomorrow, friend just invited me to go squid fishing, will see how long my bod holds out out there. Fun though, except for the billion incredibly poorly mannered individuals from other countries, many who have said they also are on SS disability, that group-force-their-way-in all night, take multiple limits, then sell them at the fish market downtown and to some of the restaurants. Then if caught they tell the courts they don't speak English and the manual isn't in their language and get off with a warning. It id decimating our resources across the entire state. Have know some enforcement folks. Hate that crap...#1 reason talking to others that most locals don't go to any of the 5 local piers any more, sadly. Have good memories there. Sorry for the rant, just lisses me off seeing people do that then get treated differently by the courts, all the while seeing the wildlife I love so much disappearing. Love and respect most animals more than I do a lot of people many days. Anyway, hopeful tonight will be plentiful, fun and will be eating calamari tomorrow. Wonder how well that will pair with my meds! ;)

3 quick questions, especially for Swisher, or anyone...

1. Could my plugging in the ballast, then as it's lights come one plugging in the light, be causing that E-04 then you think? May have done that but will be sure to plug the light & hood in first from now on. What about if the ballast was last set to only 400w and I plug in a hood with a 1000w bulb?

2. My plants are really starting to respond to the aggressive amount of low stress FIM-ing, topping and supercropping that I started far too late. But at what point in their life cycle should I stop, and how often is too often?

Guess it was only 2 questions, or the 3rd just shot out left field and will be saved for another day :)
