I water every 45 minutes while the lights are on in flower. That's 16 times per day.
The first 3 times I get no runoff. 4th time I only get a little runoff
After that I get good runoff. I have standing water on top of roots for 15 minutes before it soaks up. Every time!
Thought about drilling a hole down through the roots so the water has a place to go. Lol

Thanks, I almost always wear shorts lol. No snow but it can still get down to 40 at night.. I’m not complaining, not anymore at least haha.. :fire::shockedninja:

Every so often I note guys saying they are gonna keep an eye on temp or humidity.

Not sure if this is meant literally or just a figure of speech.

But for those that may not yet have an auto data logging solution - and who don't necessarily toss out something I recommend due to my abysmally bad first grow!!!

Can list up to I think it is 5 sensors i.e. for like 5 different rooms within the app too.b

its copper 1 wire. quite stiff i supose its 1.5mm thick.

For clones.....this is gonna sound crazy
I get household bleach
with it @ a ratio of 9:1 water to bleach

then I dunk my clones in it
then I flood the crap out of whatever media it is in and let it dry
then transplant and put aside in the "pergatory" room until I know it has nothing of any kind
then I will take clones and flower the clones out and make 1 a mom and throw the original away

I lurked onto this. I did work at a tree Nursery where this practice was used. I would be a little more hesitant when using it on consumable plant. I think that a spinosad dip would be effective. It's a larvacidal bacterium found in distilled rum. It is an endotoxin found in the flea pill known as Comfortis. Harmless to beneficial insects as well as mammals

Another awesome option that I have found would be a ritha (soap berry) solution. You can purchase certain nuts pre powdered or you can hand crush them or powder them using a Magic Bullet. Crushing by hand I would recommend about 10 nuts per gallon. If you powderize could use one teaspoon per gallon.

After reading all that boring shit I think i would just use a small tent and 1 cob to keep it quarantined for 6 weeks. Take cutting and keep it quarantined, and flower out the original to make sure all is good.
I would do this all in my detached garage in the summer.
She showed anything, even a sideways fart, and she would burn ASAP.
And i would never use that supplier again...

On a diff note...
I slept 10 hrs last night with no headaches and no neck aches..
I did back 2 days ago..
I think the working out is helping me tremendously..
That shot stopped the inflamation so i could get some movement and stretch..
Im gonna go hang out with the girls today and do stretching, yoga, and watch them teach me how too work my budis maximas(sp)...and stretch out the lower back

Hmmm, well he is actually right around my age aroud 30. He is a firefigther soo im sure he gets his swings of the axe in. He actually msged me this morning telling me about how last night he pulled a unconcious grandmother out of a second story house fire and she ended up dying at the hospital. Smh, but yeah. He is still planning on getting the hps setup around christmas or the first of the year i think.
As far as the lobster dinner, pm ur addy n ill send yah a frozen lobster haha. If you were anywherr near i would totally take yah out for a buisness lobster dinner and squeeze all the info i could out of yah. Lmao. Jkjk but fr tho. Haha

Washing dishes is great for the hand..
Not so great on lower back....


Well he will really be happy when he makes the switch....
Summer will be a lot harder to run that tent.. You got time.. But come April i see a 4x4 tent and applicable fan and filer in your future..
Then you can veg in the tent you have now. And just use a t5 with as many bulbs as possible in a 2x2 t5 light. Or splurge and get a mothers lil helper led for veg...

In a sealed room set up, do you generally still run a carbon filter? And if so does it basically pull air from the room and return it to the room?

I thought I understood the bare basics about a sealed room config but then a friend told me yesterday that even in a sealed room setup you still pull fresh air from outside and vent it back outside. Which made me ask, then what the heck makes such a room "sealed"?

I do know of people running big rooms, that like to exhaust out there room at lights off,
for a few mins...
They think/like it gives them a reset of the environment at lights on, with c02 infusion..
I have heard of ppl using c02 and exhausting. In my mind, that is ass backwards and ignorant,,,
but maybe some other outside environment might have a diff effect..
but i recommend if you live in normal conditions, I wouldnt use c02 and exhaust the room continuously..
And yes the carbon filter just sits in the room exhausting right back in the room.

One thing to note on the temp controller: they also have another that handles up to 1200w instead of 1100w. As far as I can tell there are no other differences and the price difference is very minimal.

But dont the cobs have instructions on what gauge of wire to use?

I would use what is recommended. If its 16 or bigger Ga then your good..
but wire is cheap enuf at that Ga, and having wire you can work with, would be my goal..
