My Unkle lived in Hunttington Beach for years and years before he passed.. Ive been there a few times. Been to Magic Mountain and Knoxberry farms.. That was in the 80's when it had the tallest roller coaster which I didnt get to ride because of height restrictions..

remember when I mistaked ph down for bloom and added 60 ml of ph down!
Fuck that sucked..
Had to run back to Kroger at 10 30 at night to buy 10 gals of water that I had just bought there 2 hrs before..
Before I had the ro filter.. life before ro.. hahaha its bad!!!

funny you say that because I am thinking of growing as much of my own food next year as possible.
I want green beans, tomatoes, and peppers. Not hot peppers, but bell peppers. And maybe lettuce.
I use my waterfarms. I got an 8 bucket waterfarm and a 4 bucket waterfarm.
Ran outside under the sun..
Im thinking that will require me to brew some tea as they could get into the 90 in the buckets?
I sure as the hell aint gonna chill the water outside..
How will I fight pythium in them temps?

def worth it to grow your own food
I would suggest an ebb and flow system
where you can dig a hole in the earth to put the nute tank 55-60gal
it will keep it at the correct temps
no need to worry about the buckets
just the res

just that uc roots stuff
or just get the Jacks and use it as directed
that shit works in high temp greenhouses
no water chillers
as long as the res is cool
also you can dig holes for each bucket
or a trench and place the buckets below ground level then backfill with woodchips or some shit to keep it cool
but I think as long as the res stays cool everything will be perfectly fine

I can make them buckets ebb and flow buckets!
I just need a CAPP timer control bucket and a 55 gal drum.. Bury the drum 3/4 deep..
Awesome idea..
