ignore the crap about the variac, that is exactly what you want.

-Variable autotransformer (Variac): Produces continuous sine wave of a lower voltage (unlike a triac (crappy speed controller) which chops up the sine wave to achieve a decreased voltage) allows fan operation with no hum.
Crap?
Electricity is magic.
Play with care.
Starving a fan motor of power WILL make it run slower.
It will also heat up due to inefficiencies.
I have made this mistake myself.

I bought a blue lab meter and then it just didn’t stay true on readings. Had to calibrate literally every reading. Switched to a Hanna hi9813-5 and it kicks ass. Let me know how your blue lab does..

What’s your irrigation strategy look like? What ppm of N P K are your running in flower?
Currently hand water. I have everything to automate when I get tired of hand spanking. I use GH nutes, pretty close to their feed chart. Currently around 800-900ppm.

I did not like having single point of pH reference. I learned probe care is key, must keep it in the storage solution when not in use, never let it dry, etc. Calibrate after 24hrs soaking in storage solution. Nice having the convenience of pen or probe. And, naturally if one breaks, I have a backup meter.

My Milwaukee is accurate.
The Bluelab seems more responsive.
