Thin plant dont mean thin yield !

Hey chron, buzz is right , just as a funny coincidence, i just supercropped my thin plants , one of my fav techniques , it will be too hard emotionally for you , no disrespect , but it involves squeezing the stem near the top, or anywhere you want
You will squeeze hard damaging the fiber till you feel it collapse practically , in essence crushing it...
Its used instead of topping or fimming , it works great , the side shoots will bulk up then the whole stem callouses up...
Try it now or next time , this pic that i just did reflects a mild version ....
Do it a few weeks before flowering...
Hell ya thanks for that info dude I just screen shorted that for when I get ready to do it to my others

I only remove what covers prime bud sites, and all lower growth that wont amount to anything I'd want to smoke.

Usually once, 2nd or 3rd week of flower.
Oh so you wait until flower to defoliate? Ok j didn't know when or how perfect I appreciate that bud

Super cropping is HST..But there other forms of HST (NOT recommend unless choosing a plant for stress testing before breeding)
ie: If I think a plant will breed well..I screw with the light cycle to see if she will herm..If Not..she is for my breeding.

I defoliate when i first put them in flower then 3 weeks later. Sometimes, I have to defoliate in veg if the plants start to collect condensation on the leaves.
Ok cool I appreciate it I'm takin all this info down on paper haha

Heard she people talk about scog not really sure what it is I think buzzer was talking about it also
No..That was not me..I haven't scrogged or done a SOG in yrs.

I will advise caution here..You have ben given A LOT if good and useful ideas. I strongly recommend trying the simplest ones , ONE AT A TIME! (LST for example) and do not try to overdo anything. I would hate to see you mess up this grow trying new stuff, until you can get some more personal experience under your belt..I always thought that I knew enough..prior to learning to actually read what each plant was telling me..then It all got put together

K.I.S.S. still reigns supreme, until you have plants that you can afford to lose..

Sermon Over! 🤣 😆😂

Yep..But Not really so with Supercropping (If done reasonably well).
Never happened here due to super cropping and we all had to learn somewhere😁

The HST with screwing up light cycles is MUCH MUCH harder on a plant, which is exactly what I am looking for. Remember, I have no intention of taking these to harvest (but sometimes will)..it is just to see how much they can take before or if they herm.

NO..(but close) Not for seeds or pollen..I stress to get only the strongest plants to breed (chuck pollen..LOL) with.
If they hermie too easily, they will not be bred.

Hey guys got another question so most plants I see are usually short stems when they hit the first couple nodes....these are stretching long as fuck...I was thinking of putting the stem and roots a lil farther down maybe like half the stem....is it a good idea cuz I want to top these after like the 3rd or 4th node havent done nothin yet to it

Yes, you can cover the stems with soil and the covered part will make roots. I do that from time to time here with no problems.

I suggest not being in a hurry to do anything like topping..When the plant is hardy enough to top..let us know with pictures plz.

Next grow..I suggest keeping the seedling in the solo cup (photo, not auto) for alot longer and glet the leaves reach the outer part of the cup before transplanting to a larger pot..It is easier to water in a small cup and the plant actually grows better than in a larger pot.

DO not TRANSPLANT AGAIN NOW..JUST WATCH HOW YOU WATER..keeping in mind that your aim is to have the roots reach /search for water and fill the bigger pot..
