This first plant has had issues with seemingly nitrogen and curling down for a while. All my other plants are fine and I treat them the same, so I accepted it as a possible genetic difference (all different strains). its continued steadily as is, but now I’m seeing a similar (albeit minor) signs of it happening in my other plants.

Photos below are from plant 1

These are the leaves below on my better plant which hasn’t showed any issues till recently

Is my soil too hot? I figured I would have seen issues sooner if that were the case. Could this be from improper watering?
This really seems to be the only issue with my first grow, and I just need to fix it so I know what not to do going forward.
Thanks

Maybe watering a little too often over time the roots are staying too wet.

Sometimes they droop when I wait way too long, but I had an issue for a while of underwatering and actually really stunted my Plants

If the nutrient level is too high it gets real high as the medium dries out. Concentrates the nutrients.

So what do I do? It seems if I don’t wait just enough I kill them and if I wait a little too long I kill them

What is the soil? What is the runoff ppm and ph? What have you added?

i made the soil.
Coast of Maine platinum, compost, wormcastings, perlite, bone meal. And some have a bit of guano. The worst looking plant doesn’t have guano I didn’t have it at the time.
I haven’t PHD the runoff in a long time so I don’t remeber but I think it was normal. I’ve fed some earth juice bloom for nutes and that’s about it.

Are they drooping or wilting? Big difference. My plants often droop at the end of a hot day even when they don't need water. If they are wilted they will have permenant damage or death if not watered very soon.

You should test your soil with a soil test kit. I dont know how to advise because i dont know if its drainage or nute balance or what?

Look for a luster leaf soil test kit or similar.

They are 7 gallon, I put a bit more than a quarter gal since when I did a half they would sag reaaaally bad and didn’t seem too happy
Quarter gallon, so basically a liter in a 7 gallon pot? Are you getting any run off? ThTs next to no water for a 7 gallon pot.

I think you have root problems due to improper watering. 7 gallon pots should get about two gallons every time.
