So I've heard tell of a light out there that can achieve both the intensity and the spectrum of the sun. Does anyone know what this light is?
The Sun On-Demand™ – It's Simple. It's The Sun. Indoors.

Lol I keep wondering if anyone will ever find this brand. Idk what their sales team is after.
yup, and they will contact you. You will never guess how expensive that light is
Found a bit on it, seems interestingPlasma Grow Lights Guide for 2022
If you're familiar with indoor grow lights and their development over the years, you know that there's a lot of hot air and competition in the industry.www.epicgardening.com
California-based technology company Azentive this summer released the new Sun On-Demand plasma lighting solution aimed at the medical cannabis industry. According to a press release, European growers that have been using plasma lighting technology report crops with higher cannabinoid levels, as well as yield increases of 25% to 90%.
The company attributes the success to the spectrum the lights produce and the density optimization of the plasma light by German inventor Boris Lutterbach. According to a press release, the light accurately replicates the sun’s spectrum and power and offers a high-density, uniform lighting that covers a larger area than current competitors.
Specifications from the company indicate a maximum efficiency of up to 110 to 145 lumens of light output per watt. Maximum coverage for a 2.6-kilowatt system evenly covers approximately 225 square feet.
225 square foot? like they mean a cube right? not the foot print? cause there are others then that are 240sq ft by that measure. By the pictures yeah its just an LEP light.
want an $8k plasma stage light ??
This is classic marijuana marketing at its sickest.
This tech is out there its expensive its in play. So lets take all the real things. an gimmick it up. Im not knocking them. But the reason they dont have prices is the product isnt theirs. Im sure give me a unit you will find it all supplied. I will say this is where design has a little more play than LED boards do.
I guess what gets me is the "sun" aspect.
i wrote a post in smokers lounge. While nothing seems to have come of it. I said "i guess if it turns into a hedge your bets post on whats next in growing. its laser beam lights". or something to that effect. But i've always wondered what you could do with lasers. so i spent my free time tonight googling. Apparently you can do some cool stuff. But i dont think any thing will really come of it commercially by the looks of it right now. Or at least not in the near future. The web page is an obvious marketing ploy to grab uneducated customers. The professional lighting industry wouldnt advertise like that.
I thought it was going to be like those light tube skylights that amplify the sun inside the warehouse. Never saw anything come of that either.
