Ok so we have all grown out a seed that claims the world in terms of flavors, maybe it ends up being some dank bud, but it doesn't have what we are looking for right? Maybe we spend years searching for a great lemon or a great pine or a great berry. Lets share this knowledge an own a document of which strains / company deliver on their promises.

Credit where credit is due, this is partially inspired by this thread https://www.thcfarmer.com/threads/searching-for-a-fruity-flavourful-flower.122879/ where @AndyBoi asked which flavors delivered on berry and mango and got some good responses. Same idea but all flavors.

Is your sheet editable?

Think 90% of my Dark Heart Sour Tangie ended up in the compost pile as the high was fairly ho hum. I grew their Magic Melon last year, and past on clones to 3 other growers. It has a really strong/nice fruity flavor and smell, but once again not a heavy hitter. (None of the other growers were overly impressed either.)

Feel free to add your experiences with the Sour Tangie to the notes, was more of an example than anything. I think we can find better.

Hello. I love good weed. I remember some special things when I've come across them. My favorites are the kinds that really taste like something special. Some are old news but still around for good reason.

Had some forbidden fruit this year. The most purple and fruity thing Ive ever tasted. So fruity and easy on the lungs down to the very end of the roach delicious purple juice flavor. High was definitely there too. Very satisfying overall. Being that tangie is part of this cross leads me to believe tangie is some damn good stuff as well. And being from DNA seeds tangie I'm sure is a pleasure to grow and smoke all around.

Soma's New york city diesel...Hear me out. If you've never had any. It's really just special. Once again so easy on the lungs but very potent and very special NOVELTY euphoria and relaxation effect. The chem based diesels are good too I'm sure. And I get that they are the originals... But soma's is special in it's own right. Like a smooth mint vanilla lime drink. Not so much "fuelly". It tastes like you're taking a cool soothing drink rather than burning smoke into your lungs. Even your lungs just want more... It's special I assure you. I've also had what I suspect may have been an AJ type diesel which was actually similar in some ways. Soft cool and very sweet smoke. If I could narrow down which one that was I would add it on here. Wasn't chokey or fuelly. More like minty and soft and sugary sweet smoke. Definitely the soma version would help go towards some sort of decadent desert flavor cross.

I also suspect soma's lavender and somango to have some merit towards fruity breedings. With what I know of a good nycd and the fact that lavender and somango have some high level trophies of their own. Soma definitely has a certain grasp on what people's lungs enjoy...

The most special thing I have ever tasted... A clone only strain that I believe has disappeared entirely and deserves a remake. Ohio death star which was Sensi star male x sour diesel female (I have no idea the origins on that female.)... This stuff was amazing. Back then (mid 2000's) I was mr volcano snob with my volcano "I dont even smoke bowls any more hmph"... My friend got an amazing batch of this from somewhere... Him and another friend were like "you should really smoke this bowl." . We all agreed it was sort of like rock candy. The kind that crackles and fizzles in your mouth. But even more than that. We all agreed on the analogy that it felt like a "star battle" going on in your mouth. All of the missed phaser shots from the x wings and tie fighters going into your cheeks and tongue. Like lemon laser shots going off in your fucking mouth. Sensi star on it's own may have some merit towards adding a zesty flare on something.

Some ideas off the top of my head:
Sensi star (male if you can attain one) x either forbidden fruit or just tangie = star fruit (probably something is called that already...).
Sensi star x whichever diesel that was for the original one = death star (original revived... somebody should figure it out and bring it back...)
Sensi star x Soma's nycd = pa star death ;)

not sure where some guy across town happened to get forbidden fruit. Maybe it was cali connection's fruit tree... triple post my bad.

I have mixed experience with bagseed, gifted clones and my own actual selection of internet seeds only once so far lol. Having my own dreams of breeding and at the very least researching what females to pick next... But I damn well remember if I smoked it and it was good.

Also somebody should cross soma's(soma's sacred seeds) nycd with AJ's cut (original sour from cali connection). see what that does. I'm just thinking out loud here obviously. Soma for the female.
