Some day 50 flower pics-

The trichomes are turning pretty milky, but no ambers yet. The smell is so amzazing it makes my mouth water everytime I go in the room. I cant wait to smoke this stuff.
I did find a large number of fungus gnats this evening. I have been fighting a few here and there the entire grow, but tonight I would say it is becoming an infestaion. I sprayed safer under the screen and on the medium, but am open to any other options that won't effect the taste.

It now appears that none of the proposed initiatives to legalize marijuana in California can be used to nullify or amend current California medical marijuana law.[/B][/I]
Which is great new for me.[/QUOTE]

Yep,yep.

Sentencing for under age does'nt change.

and, now we know. lol

Been battling some fungas gnats today. I have been battling them the entire grow. I tried some cinnamon tonight. I sprinkled it on top of the coco. The gnats didn't like it much so I got a chance to see the numbers. I saw about 20 of them. I have been using the biolinks(garlic and yucca extract) and I think it might be keeping the numbers down, but definatley isn't getting rid of them. I am going to probably get some diatomaceous earth for the next flower run and put a couple inches of it on top of the coco. I am too close to harvest to do anything drastic right now. I have been researching these little bastards and they have a 28 day life cycle and four stages, so it I will probably not get rid of them completly until the next run.
Life Cycle of Fungus gnat
The life cycle of fungus gnats is shown in Figure 1. A female fungus gnat may lay up to 300 whitish eggs in clusters of 20 to 30 or more on the surface or in the crevices of moist soil or potting media rich in organic matter. Eggs hatch in about six days. Larvae feed for 12-14 days before changing into a pupa, which is formed inside a silken pupal chamber in the soil. The pupal stage may last 5-6 days and adults live up to 10 days. The life cycle from egg to adult requires approximately 4 weeks depending on temperature; development time decreases as temperatures increase, as is true of most insects.

Here are a couple better trichome shots

lots of trichs bro - looking like some good shit...

speaking of good shit - How about them R A I D E R S !?!?!

best part was I had a life long denver fan at the house for the game - he called me when he was on the way and started in with, 'Your team is gonna lose!"

it was a very long afternoon for him...

Lookin sooooo damn good man, just doesn't stop frosting up.

Oh yeah dude, about the gnats, i think you are too close to harvest, and you infestation level seems low enough to not hurt you a bit.

good research you did though, thanks for sharing it. Cheers on the frost.

Thanks man. It is crazy how the trichomes just keep comming. They are starting to stack on top of eachother on the buds and edges of the leaves. Almost there :clapping:party0045::cool0010::cool0010::bong-hits:

That is too funny. I just laughed out loud because I have a good friend that is a Bronco fan too and I heard the same shit until the 4th quarter. I told him that he could call us the spoilers from here on out. Never the less he talked a lot of shit. He would not answer or return calls after the 4th quarter started.

Thanks man. I have a better digital SLR, but that is just a little digital instant camera (pentax 7.1 meg). The SLR is a Nikon D50. I just usually take the pentax down when I check on the plants, but if you look back at the no flash pics, they are done with the the SLR.

It does amaze me how well the pentax macros come out though. I actually enlarge them 400 times for the trichome shots. Thanks for the compliments.

Day 52 Flower

Is it time to flush? Please share your opinions on whether these girls are close. The trichomes are milky, but not amber. They apppear to be starting to burst though. Thanks for the help.

you are killin it raider. fuckin fanatastic, in a perfect world i would get to taste some of your PK and you would have some of my himalayan gold, and OG.

All I know is that coco can be flushed real quick, in four days or so. I reckon you are on day 52 right now, same as me. Probably can take one more good feeding then flush with clearex, and chop when the pot is bone dry, but the plant isn't wilting, this should cut at least a day or two of drying.

I don't know about house and garden but with my nutes, all the OG testers were superbly smooth, I even think I could get away with no flush but still plan on like a 4 day flush. This could be because I am using cashcrop organic nutes, and no one really knows about them at all.

7-10 day flush bro - you got a few days or so at least - if I remember right I never took mine before day 65 - I like amber trichs - also last week if you can let the temp in the grow drop a bit when lights are off (to 55/56 degrees) she should darken up for ya - you could get some purple/red trichs as well...

looking forward to seeing the end result as its looking dank already!

No shit brother. I would be cool if we could swap some meds. I have heard with coco you only need 4-7 days for flush as well. I am going to dilute the nutes I already have mixed a little and feed tomorrow. Then start flush with RO water for the last week. We will see how it works. I am hoping for some more wieght on those buds in the last week.

Thanks Bro. I have thought about dropping my temps, but then I got spooked by the pm that tolerance ran into. I may drop down to 65-70 deg, i have been maintianing 76-78 the entire grow.

Awesome pics dude! your plants look pretty close. IMO start flushing right away.
