Do you have a cat that has access to the plants? Cats love cannabis for some reason... well... at one point they fly... Lol πŸ˜† I'm sorry I'm kidding I like to kill all bugs. I wouldn't let him set up

I tried keeping this guy alive last summer. But they bolted from the jar and I found em covered in dust making a break for it across the kitchen floor. They were never the same afterward and died a sad death.

Now I'm questioning if its right or wrong to kill the bugs πŸ› (Definitely Right)

πŸ™„ whys it so cute πŸ˜„

We did get a lot of rain at the end of winter. The last time we got this much I remember there were places where it looked like the desert was moving from the amount of caterpillars. I do pest control in AZ, and besides caterpillars we have a few beetles that can do that much damage, but they would be very big. The only other insect I can think of would be wasps, but I think you'd see them flying around. Hope that helps. Just a heads up we're going to hit the 90s in temp by Thurs. :)

what's up my fellow Arizonian lol so I had to jump pages as there were quite a bit of issues early on I'm hoping some of the members got you squared away, I promise you that a few grows in you will look back at things and laugh unless you have a teacher your the one teaching yourself. as far as bugs go and I'm not sure where your located at but I would online order yourself about 100-200 ladybugs they are 100% carnivorous and I have been using them on all my crops indoor and outdoor since it was shown to me when i was 13 by my uncle who operated large scale grows in north cal throughout the 70's and 80's. anyways google it if you want, I just love to see everyone succeed, esp at growing beautiful flower.

Hey Thanls everyone for keeping this going!

The plants are so big now, its been 72 days from seed. The red stems have me STUMPED!
I've given extra phosphorus/calmag/ flushed
nothing seems to be working.

I pulled them all outside yesterday and I think they look pretty healthy despite the stems. Would they look Veiny if it was just color from the LEDs?

Photos from yesterday.
Let me know what you think!!

I would think the purpling of the leaf stem and striping on the main is not from pH or lack of Phos but from the LEDs. It is anthocyanin pigment that is highlighted with blue and red light that make up the LED layers. The pigament itself may be there to protect the plant or to do its own kind of photosynthetic response but its a bit a mystery. I would say about 60-70% of the hybrid strains I have encountered carry it in their genes. Probably from the Kush indicas or that region that get hit with higher UV

mine turned striped when i stressed it. and it turns a little striped when it gets cold at night. but it went away, from when stressed. every evening i dont see it as striped as the mornings. but i think it may be some genetics with purple in it. some leaves have a purple hue to them especially after the cooler nights.

nowhere near as purple as those though. just the stripes.

It may not be a deficiency and may just be the genetics of the plant.

I think this is gonna be the best answer, looks like genetics. Their are some strains that have like zero color and than they get to that β€œβ€day and boom. Their are some funky colored genetics out their but its nothing to worry about as you can see from the photo their black leafs and stems lol

The person I learned from said that of your plant looks perfectly healthy and the stems are purple on big fans it’s cause the stems have a β€œsun burn” but should be fine. Not sure if that’s just bro science but it seems to work for me. Lol

The plants have been on a light schedule of 12/12 for 23 days now.

Some are showing more signs of flower than the others. One of the plants is developing all over the place, and is showing definite Female calyx!
#5 isn't showing any of the hairs that the others are.

The biggest is looking Male, I've included photos of the suspect spots on it, let me know what you think!
