I have six plants in my tent. 11 days since germination. I have the light schedule at 20-4. They seem to be thriving . Germinated and growing in 3 gallon pots of Fox Farms Happy Frog and Ocean Forest. I will start Fox Farms Grow Big (diluted of course) next week. Big Bloom at week 4, and Tiger Bloom at week six. The lights are around 22 inches high. I want to harvest at 68 days and the seeds (Gorilla Glie #4 and Sky Walker ) are genetically suited for this expectation. From what I’ve read on various sites, 20-4 will provide the best yields . Aside from consuming more electricity, is there any downside ?

Well. I suppose that depends on who you ask.

Many people veg under 24 hour light and the plants do grow normally. But many other people will tell you the plant will grow slower without a night cycle.

I've never done or seen a side by side, but it would be interesting to find out.

Thanks. Let’s see what other replies pop up.
Update. I’m at week two. The plants are thriving. Compared to pictures I’ve seen of plants at the stage of growth, I’d say that look very healthy. Started Fox Farms Grow Big today (diluted). This be supplied on Tuesdays and Saturdays . Week 4 I’ll add Big Bloom.
Week 5 I’ll stop the Grow Big and start Tiger Bloom for weeks 5 through 8. Planning a grow cycle total of 66 days.

Just curious at the timeline. When will you flip them?

Are you going to top or fim? Do LST? You might want to raise your netting, they are already through it!

4 plants? Not 6, right?

I have three seedlings as well. I’ll be gifting these in a few weeks. I would have these outside but the weather hasn’t been ideal. I added a second netting about two feet above the first but yes, urge first net could go up. As for topping, I am frankly worried that I’ll eff it up!

You cant really mess it up. Cannabis is resilient. Just be sure to leave at least one node (branch).

You're going to want room under your net to water your plants. Net 2 doesnt need to go in till you flip to flower. 👍

I plan on flipping at day 37 May 20. Flower until day 73. Total grow time 73 days. 10 weeks , 3 days.
Want to make sure I'm following you right, you plan on an additional 73 days after flip or 73 days including veg? If 73 total days including veg that only gives you 36 days of flower puts you a few weeks shy of what most breeders recommend for those strains

73 now? So you added a week, that's good.

I'm not sure why the trellis if you're not topping or fimming.

Won't any training be hard with a net there? And watering and plucking dead vegetation from the bottom, or cleaning the bottom leaves off later.

If you are going to move the net, or remove it and wait till you've trained, you should do it soon, those girls will be very caught up in it soon.

The netting, as I understand it, is to put a cola through each square so it keeps them at an even level. The vegitation is below and the bud sites, flowers later, go through. You put all the bud sites through one hole.

Yes a total grow of 73 days. I figure I‘ll adjust as necessary. If at the end of week 4 flowering I don’t see milky trichomes with some amber, I’ll add some more time

Points well taken. Thanks

4 weeks flower isn't even close to being done. Might as well harvest now.
