100% organic is the way homesteaders and country folk do things. Everything is reused, recharged and food is never wasted. We have done the banana peels and such. It's a lot of work.
But it requires a lot of knowledge. Best to get some smoke and learn. Than he can do some KNF stuff and show us all how it is done!!!!

The plant is flourishing so you are obviously doing most everything correctly. It's likely just a matter of tweaks here and there. Most of that comes with experience.
For sure keep us updated. I'm interested in this new Pineapple strain... LOL

Be careful with being satisfied with the plant in its present state, it is young and going all organic is not simple task. If you just use the products I have listed the plant will do really well and you will get some great some. Than you can research KNF and school us all. This is all about getting to the finish line.

Yea I know things can change real quick.ive seen it...that's why I'm here!

if you add enough soil to fill the pot no plant would stick out! you really need to start with it filled up, it will settle enough to top dress or whatever you want, but you do not leave the roots any room when you do that

I mostly agree with this. We started a grow with less that full pots because of height issues. Plus I've seen a 6 foot plant growing in a solo cup. Another forum has a "Solo cup challenge" to see who can grow the biggest plant in one. BUT, it has to be fed constantly with a drip or it can't take in enough to stay alive at that size.
So, yeah, give your roots all the room you can, it will make them happier, but they will use what they have.

Hey your plant looks great even in miracle gro. I just wanted to chime in about nutrients. In all honesty growing 100% organic is the easy way to go compared to dialing in nutes and ph. Don't overthink it as you are a natural grower and I can tell you have love for the plant and it loves you back by how it's responding in your care. Keep it simple and you will have a good harvest of healthy herbs in a few months. Good soil, water and sun is all it needs.

Yeah you don't wanna mess up a good thing by trying experiments and doing too much. I messed up my first grow that way and my 🍍kush plant never recovered.😢 Keeping it simple especially when you're starting off is the way to go. Since you're using slow nute release soil I'd suggest only adding more nutes only if your plant looks like it's not getting enough. Pay attention to it and you'll know more about it than anyone online can tell you.

I did just top the pot off with more soil, and trimmed some of those bottom baby leaves along the stem, they aren't gonna do anything anyway and I didn't want to bury them in the soil. But it was very minimal. I will keep an eye on her see what she does! Thinking about 6-8 more weeks of veg, but honestly I'm learning as I grow so..who knows ..seems to me these plants are like people's bodies, and we all grow..tolerate and heal differently.

Update: almost 8 weeks in ..I couldn't tell if my plant was starting to flower ..still no signs of sex...and someone said new leaves coming up.. I counted 8 main tops.. 4 on bottom, 4 on top..sooo I thought ...ok I'm learning.. it's seems super strong, I'ma just go for it..so 2 days ago ...I gave it a lil' trim and decided eff it..I'm topping one more time so I took the 4 tops hoping to get 8 more...and Let me just tell you... this took alot of guts, I was hella nervous and still am!!! I hope it's wasn't too late, well I guess it is now..😏..But I really wanna see what happens! I was careful not to do too much at one time..it was kind of perfect timing with the weather and humidity cooling down.so less heat stress while recovering..I'm looking at it 2 days later and looks like the area I trimmed is all filled in again.. I do want to give it one more trim up when the flower stage starts..I was thinking just focusing on the bottom area again maybe hit a few in the mid section?!? At that time, I will also be throwing in my banana peels ... I can really understand the mad scientist behind this! A lil trim here a lil top there...lots of y'all are out there performing surgery or trimming and cutting like a cosmetologist!!! Here's a couple pix.. day of and today, today's pic was taken at night so shop is closed down for the night but it's still perking up pretty good in the day.

Good looking plant!
Is that one of those pots with a drip tray built in? They often do not drain well enough for cannabis.

Yours looks alot bustier than mine ill have my new lights in today going with cfl bulbs instead of led taking to long for plants to grow been growing same plants for months my lighting been 18/6..they still look good but still in veg due to lighting just changed their soil from miracle gro to stay green pottin soil perlite and vermiculite
Next time you should consider grow bags instead of plastic containers. It's better for the root system, gives them more oxygen. Some advice...

A.P.

My Ladys at about 5 weeks. Purple Aliens.
I just gave them a powdering of Diom. Earth for bugs and silica for the soil. They smell amazing already.
