Would this light be a good budget light. 3x4x72 1-2 plants per grow. If not what are good options under 200$

many like mars hydro. there is a @SpiderFarmerLED guy here who is very helpful and part of the community, he has a discount code in his sig i think. i happen to like viparspectra, the xs uses the meanwell driver and the samsung diodes and is budget friendly. great sales too.

Mars are a POS. I had 2 of those for veg several years ago and both went out within a month of each other

I have a Bestva Pro 1000 I really like. Use it for seedlings and small plants. Meanwell driver and Samsung chips. Looks cool too and you know how critical that is. Seriously really nice dimmable light with the best hanging hardware I’ve seen.

I had/have two of those TS1000 or POS as you call them, for my 1st grow and got a fine harvest, they're still working a year later and I liked them so much that I bought a 3rd and planning buying a 4th one.
Spider Farmer are a good choice as well and a very good forum sponsor, they do some amazing deals like BOGO quite often, mostly for US/CA though.
VIPARSPECTRA do seem to be gaining popularity in the budget segment.

If only growing 1 or 2 plants, you may not need the max wattage. The light is strongest in middle and spreads out. Guess that's why the are different configurations of leds.

That mars tsw2000 has 300 watts at barely over $200. That's what i have and am very happy with it. Bought a second one for 600w total in a 4x4. Customer service seems to be mars downfall.

I run the TSW2000 as a veg only light in a 3x3 tent . . . it has been doing a great job for over a year now.

It does fair in flower . . . but having done a side by side comparison with it and an HLG lamp over flowering plants the HLG is easily worth the $$$ over the Mars Hydro. Buds that I've produced under the Mars light just don't have same bulk and density. Not saying the Mars light won't produce good bud, it will do ok seed to harvest. I actually prefer the Mars light in veg but I think that is because I have the rspec HLG lamp . . .

I got 4-5 oz. Off 1 ac/dc plant. But that was with 2 lights. 600w total. Lights can make or brake yield, that's for sure.
