What the earliest you would flip after topping/ Does it matter if your goal were seeds or flower? Would you wait longer if your goal was flower?

If you top too late ( as in day of flip) you'll get 2 pine cones where you top. If you let it recover for a week those pine cones will stack up. I like 10 -14 days after topping before I flip to assure good growth after I pinch them off.

I've topped 3 weeks into flower for convenience. I go about a week before normally. But I can't say it matters if you wait at all.
Out of convenience? What scenarios do you wait three weeks?

7-14 days for best results.👌
Could be earlier if plant is vigorous, a grower just learns to get the plant right where they want it, then flip.
You don’t need a number. Just some patience✌️

Cmon ponky, out back for a beating, topped 3 weeks in flower? Convenience?
The conscience of having less bud to trim maybe. That’s a sin🤣
Supercrop the tall ones.

It beats letting them burn against the lights. Laziness is convenience. If I was really focused and on the ball I'd flip sooner. But like letting dishes soak I veg too long cuz flipping is a hassle.

Damn I thought I was lazy. What part of the flip is the biggest hassle? haha

Or you could just bend them over instead of chopping off your tops. They bulk up while laying sideways too and @ 3 weeks the stems will still repair themselves and bend the tops back up towards the light. After 4-5 weeks they won't and the buds will stay laying bent over.

Topped 3 days after flip..best thing ive ever done and by the looks def wont b any decrease in yield at all .4 weeks and 2 days here since bud onset. 5 weeks to go.

Is this the first time you topped after flipping? Why is it the best thing you've ever done? How many plants in there?

Yes..a couple veteran growers insisted topping would solve my issue i was having..I had height issues.plants getting too tall for the room im in and light maxing out on ceiing..now i have room to play with and keep them the distance i want away from the light.. better even canopy bar one which is a different strain so killed 2 birds with one stone..
