Ken's Cut of Grandaddy Purple

The kin`s cut of GDP sounds like the local clone only stuff they call Old Grand Dad.It`s been around for a long time but is hard to get ahold of. I `d love to get some of Kins GDP and do a side by side grow.I can get the Old Grand Dad but who has clones of kin`s GDP? Wish there was a clone market on the corner or something.

i just smoked some ken's for the first time that purpleblockhead grew, i must say its the tastiest most potent purple ive ever smoked. and that says a whooooole lot. mad props to you purpleblockhead, u know your purps.

i would say that its the best purps ive had to date. and that says a shit ton. i think the great job by purpleblockhead had a lot to do with it. shit smells like purple sugar coated skittles...

i dont know if anyone else has this problem but im blessed with great genetics.. too much so.. all i wanted originally was a good bubba kush and kens gdp.. both of which i have.. but the dc sc bb, the blue dream, the purp mango, purple hawaiian indica, purple urkle.. and now upcoming with purple dragon, querkle z, purple kush, purple diesel, sour grapes.. how am i ever going to decide which to keep.. part of me wants to run just kens but part of me will hate myself if i flower em out and its 100% a keeper without taking a clone.. anybody have any recommendations or even a rating on each or any of these strains.. they are all from norcal area..

so far i know the urkle and the kens are a keeper.. im not sure if i should cut the urkle out of the rotation cuz its very good meds.. i was leaning against pulling the purple hawaiian but wk 4 into flowering it has tons of hairs which i can tell are going to become fat dense buds and the smell is becoming a sweet purple smell already.. so now im leaning toward keeping it, i love the way it grows.. perfect nodes and spacing.. vigorous for a purple.. dc sc bb supposidly turns purps naturally so that may be a keeper as well by how it looks

There is a clone market on the corner....In clearlake Ca. Good karma growers...check it out...People meet and trade cut's/meds on Saturday i think...it's like a small farmers market...

Damn man you guys are crazy lol no offense, i work right next to GDP collective and go in there regularly, needless to say i have smoked lots of kens and IMHO it isnt even that good...to me its not that potent at all the smell is great but the taste isnt all that either ...i guess im jsut not into purps although the KENS purple kush is good

skihi there are more bad gdp strains than good going around the bay, ive had so much garbage that people call kens or purple or gdp, ive bought countless gdp and kens cuts from bay area clubs hoping 2 find another keeper purple but ive found none!!! ive found some good puple cuts but none like the kens cut i have now, my cut turns solid white top 2 bottom and under that soild purple/black, the problem every where in ca its hard 2 get a real cut of anything, every1 hoards there real cuts and people sell strains with popular names even if it aint real, ive bought 15 og strains looking for a real keeper cut and got all average genetics for bayarea clubs, 2 keep it real as of 2day i only got 1 keeper strain thats kens gdp i just got green crack, pre bubba, headband, and the white, but i havent tested them yet once i run them threw ill know if there keepers

I understand completely, but i dont think you read my post completely....i CAN get the REAL DEAL KENS HIS club is DOWN THE STREET from my work...and i CAN GET FINISHED FLOWERS from there aswell and i just dont like it its not that potent and not that tasty IMVHO but give the same thing to my co worker and he will tell you its the tastiest grapey fire hes ever had...to me its just not grapey or potent....the Purple dragon fly on the other hand is a different story.

I do agree 100% its one of the best purples out here

ive got the kens gdp from the gdp collective and its decent.. u can get the smell that its supposed to have out of it but its no where near as strong and potent as a indoor crop that is dialed in for flavor/experience and not commercial.. the stuff they have is 100% intended for commercial so i wouldnt doubt if they didnt flush nutes (even if organic) at the end, and im sure it was speed dried.. the kens cut i have 4 weeks into flowering is orgasmic the way it smells.. basically like purpleblockhead said, sweet purple candy.. overpowering.. amazing and great in every way,.. i use biobizz nutes which are known for amazing flavor, and a 4 week water on at the end ensures the smoothest in flavor.. but i grow for personal medicine not for commercial..

rabbi how did she yield outside? and how come it didnt turn purple? when i put mine out side in nor ca every leaf on the plant turns solid purple by september, its crazy looking theres no green left at all, its a solid purple plant very pretty, ill take pics again this year i had some pics but my dog ate my camara and chip, the most i got was a pound outside but i averaged around 13 oz per plant 4 foot plants, the pound plant was a 3 foot mother i put out it was 6 feet tall 6 feet wide when done
