Info:
strain- gg4
age-16 wks
soil- compost
nutrients- top dress NPK 5 days ago
watering, -1 gallon per 2 days plus rain about once a week lately
sprays.- regalia, weekly
Notes: I have 11 plants growing in various areas this one gg4 started canoeing today, only on half the plant. the other 10 no sign of any canoeing, they all got sprayed with regalia yesterday morning , it was cloudy. temps and humidity have been high. they all were top dressed with phosphorus and potash 5 days ago. cant think of any reason this one is doing this. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Yeah its very early on just judging by the limited damage. Its not that they did this in one day but rather they built up to a population that produced that amount of damage in a day… they have likely been around for a short while
thanks i will get on it. I have no idea how they got on this plant all were started from seed and i live in a very remote area. im going to order up some predatory mites

I think you’ll need more than that… id make a post on best treatment. I just asked @1diesel1 the other day and he posted his treatment for them. Movie night for me so i can look it up tomorrow if you stull haven’t got a solution ut imho i dont think predators will be enough

Russet mites im almost certain
spoken like a man with (a) experience and/or (b) seen it enough times to know right away.

IIRC @1diesel1 uses Green Therapy as a soil drench. From what I've read, those bastards are pernicious and damn near indestructible. Predatory mites will almost definitely not be enough if russet mites are the root cause (no pun intended).

dave pope says half n half cheap regular vodka and coffee. Dave Pope says it kills stuff and not the plant...
foliar obviously. Dont dump that on the roots lol.
that's a good point. you can also spray them with diluted isopropyl alcohol (dilute so you don't dehydrate the leafs) and it'll kill a bunch of shit. we used to use ISO to kill centipedes and scorpions in New Mexico. Fuckers getting into the house got a bath of rubbing alcohol.

Found this and it seems safe and effective by reviews and info on it.
For what it is worth I have the same thing on just one of my plants out in the green house?
My thoughts during the heat wave is heat and sun. Those are also listed as having the same appearance as Russet mites though so?
I just ordered the 8 ounce. Not sure if I will use or need it but might as well have it?

amazing what 12 hrs will do. I do believe i burned this plant with my topdressing of potassium that was followed by a prolonged rain event. not a heavy runoff rain but a steady soaking. i top dressed with potassium and triple phosphate. the reason im leaning toward potassium is what i read about the burn curling and thin top leaves. explains why it looks sativa leaning also.i would take nute burn anyway over them russet bastards. Also with russet mites the canoeing starts to fold at the petiole. but in the the end the pics of the burn that is appearing this morning is the tipping point of my diagnosis

just wondering did you use synthetic or organic nutrients to feed?

the top dress was both , the nitrogen was organic but the potassium and phosphate were not. big mistake i will never make again. i, just on a whim decided to give them a shot before flowering rather than trusting my compost that they are planted in. this plant did not have as much compost as most of my other plants so it got a little more. Im not justifying my actions just giving my thought pattern
