sooo... shit got ugly week #6, pics included
I've struck my usual problem with indoors, messing with stuff too much trying to seek better.... outdoors is so much more forgiving, I guess Mother Nature balances my shit out for me....
I'm attaching a few photos to hopefully shame myself into stopping this repetitive behaviour.
So I made a multitude of mistakes this week from, unnecessary flushing the system, over humidifying, increased light intensity and I think the MAJOR one is a big nutrient change.
Last week I decided to give lowering the amount of A&B solutions and adding more supplement solutions to make up my EC, so I think I've run into a deficiency this week as well as not giving them good conditions at times. I clocked 100% humidity a couple of nights due to not checking timers and swapping plugs around. (probably too many bongs)
So I have returned from work after a 3 days and Ive had growth but colouration isn't better just getting worse, also my transpiration issues from high humidity look like shit on the fan leaves so I removed those. Prior to going to work I decreased light intensity, raised it too the top and brought a fan lower to give the plants more flow. Temps and humidity has been fine while away.
Now they have a fresh reservoir which another mistake I made last week is I didn't add stabil/osmos to the last mix and my ph wasn't as stable as prior. You also wouldn't believe my stupidity, Ive just worked out start of week#7 that the H&G nutrient chart gives you the amounts of A&B in a combined figure which I should have been dividing. So from my first mix in week one I had to dilute the shit out of my mix to get the right EC, and I've kind of been free styling it from there. I mean, could I have done anything else wrong? FML
So this reservoir mix, start of week #7, should be on the money, I added everything correctly and according to the chart and my EC landed spot on. Amazing how it works when you do it right.
Lets see how they go now.
shit week! but on the positive, learnt allot and they're not dead yet
