Decided to give 500ppm tiger bloom to the super lemon haze, and just water for gorilla glue. GG pistols are pretty orange gotta be close, gonna watch trichomes.

Super lemons lot of white pistols but also from foxtails growing.. hard to tell but gonna give more time for now

Gave gorilla glue (first picture) no nutes, pistols getting orange and leaves yellowing good. Must be close!

Super lemon haze next 3 pictures I gave 500 ppm, lot of white pistols but they are pretty much new from foxtails, still letting them fatten up anyhow!

Sorry, been preoccupied with mine so haven’t been keeping up with yours!

I think your instincts are right. That Glue is frosty!

The Haze looks to me like it has bulked up nicely. A wait and see approach on those seems prudent, but I think it won’t be long now.

My last grow I had foxtailing and new pistils until I chopped (Blue Mango from a private breeder). It looked a bit like your haze—it stank and was sticky as duct tape! I’ll see if I can find a pic from near the end.

Looking good, my friend!

I remember now, I felt I should take this plant down earlier than expected because I had some lighting noncompliance that had started revegging another strain. It was August so I was having a tough time managing tent temperature also. I chopped before it was truly ready. So do as I say, not as I do, I guess 🤷🏼‍♂️

You can’t see much of the orange pistils with this lighting, but they are there in abundance. The white ones from foxtailing can’t be missed, though. This was a mainlined Blue Mango probably a few days before the chop.

Very nice! Yeah I’m glad I listened to you guys I would have chopped already but patience is key!

@Jsimp342 your Haze looks delicious and it's foxtails are BEAUTIFUL!!!!!

While I'm no expert on foxtails forming from other than natural genetics and I agree with @HerbalEdu that the foxtailing you see is likely genetic. I am very familiar with "Haze" crossed varieties. They have genetic tendency to foxtail. I grew NL5 x Haze for many years as as well as original Silver Haze and properly grown out, the best pheno's in my humble opinion, can and will foxtail. If it doesn't foxtail, then the Haze genes in the plant are resesive. If the Haze genes are more dominate, in my experiance it will foxtail. And since I want/love the Haze effects, I love foxtails. 😀 👍 As for proof of my claim, just look at the Sensi Seed pictures of their mature NL5 x Haze. Nothing but foxtails... 😇

NL5 x Haze from Sensi Seed catalog.
Northern lights 5 x haze xl

I think just about ready to cut, maybe the one plant could use longer but I gotta make a decision and chop all at same time for drying in tent.

Gonna check trichomes again later.

Any opinions? I’ll give pics of thricomes later.

I would like to think we can each be entitled to our opinions. 👍
Thanks!
That ain't opinion. That's fact but, I digress, to each their own.

OP I've grown GG many times and they do tend to foxtail so I wouldn't be worried.

So I have a plan I think I’m going to stick to it trichomes are getting cloudy on most all plants.

I know not everyone agrees but I’m going to flush them good once today, and when they start to dry out I’ll go 48 hrs dark and then chop!!

Have most every leave trimmed off by then maybe even a little wet trimming before I dry them..
last grow I left leaves to dry on plant and it tasted and smelled horrible from leaves dying and drying out on plant.

ok flushing and darkness will do nothing and fan leaves left on drying we’re not the cause of bad tasting weed.. 🤦‍♂️

Hoping not learning every time! Flush seems controversial I went for it this time, letting them be for a week or so and should be ready
