Well, I can say that I fucking love metal, I really listen to everything under the sun, I’m a garbage head when it comes to tunes, as far as favorites? A ton of opeth, Gojira, every time I die, slayer, meshuggah, pantera, mastodon, a shit ton more…….

I used to go to a lot of concerts when I was younger. Back in the 90's mostly. Used to go to Lollapalooza and shit like that. I used to see Disturbed before they were even a thing, back when they were still playing bars in Chicago. I haven't been to a concert since 2010, I believe it was. Saw Alice in Chains, Deftones and Mastodon in Detroit. Was a pretty good show even though they fucked up the start time. It was advertised and even said on the tickets that the show started at 7 pm and they started at 6. A lot of people missed Deftones and Mastodon all together due to this. A LOT of pissed off people that night, for sure! Luckily I was there way early but ended up being barely on time. 75% of the crowd showed up as Deftones were finishing their last song.I haven't seen too many metal acts. I've seen se7endust and morbid angel and cradle of filth. That's about it for metal bands. And the opening acts of those bands that I don't remember their names

Mastodon and Deftones pretty much playing to an empty venue, then all of a sudden people poured in just before Alice in Chains took stage and the place was suddenly packed with a bunch of pissed off people who wanted their money back! I don't know what happened exactly but I'm guessing Ticketbastard had to refund a lot of tickets from that show!
Yea I saw Cold do an AIC cover at their show that if you closed your eyes you would've sworn Layne was up on that stage. That's freaking awesome you got to see them play live have a lot of respect for Cantrell man.At first I was thinking "Damn, did the whole fanbase die or something?"
BTW - the new lead singer they had to replace Layne Staley sounds exactly like him it was a really awesome show!
