I have so many broken fans haha. The struggle is real. There is nothing quite as annoying as a tapping fan. Elbow drop. Savage style.

that fan has outlived them all. its been going for years. i might see if i can fix it , i think its just the mechanism that makes it oscillate. it still runs smooth as.

Yup, I have two of them. Sweet when it’s working right.

I googled a fix. Most of their stuff is high end

The small clip on oscillating fans are a pain in the arse they cable tie the wires at the neck of the fan and when it oscillates it slowly breaks the wires easy fix though just cut the cable tie twist wires back together tape it up hey presto she workin again I’ve had 4 of them all with the same problem the last 1 I bought I cut the cable tie before use and hasn’t broken since hope this helps

Why don’t you take it apart and inspect & repair? I just did this to one the other week that was driving me nuts. It turned out that the plastic housing of the motor was tapping on a connector inside the housing. I contemplated removing the entire housing and let it rock the terminator appearance. Instead I just broke the portion of plastic shielding tapping. Silence is bliss and to hear that sound go away was so soothing.

I think your fan has backed out and loosened up. Take it apart hose all the plastic down and vacuum the motor out. Reassemble it and she should work like new.
