i do everything by eye, so can’t help out with that stuff, you’ll learn to read the plants eventually and won’t need any of that stuff..
So just to reconfirm, sorry cause I’m a newbie, you are thinking light stress because the top and outside of the plant is very light green and the inside of the plant is nice dark green ?

basically yes.. and the leaf tip colour..
i say raise it 8-10 inches higher.. when is next feeding?
i’ll have to go through your thread to get more informed.. bouncing from thread to thread can get mixed up..
harvesting etc today so i’m kinda here and not..
but i and the farm will follow your new updates to watch/see your plants and help out as needed..

Technically, my next feeding would be tomorrow, but was kind of hesitant to feed since my runoff at my watering on Saturday was 900-1200 ppM depending on plant….. thoughts? And if I feed was planning to start feeding Jack’s instead of Fox Farm Trio …. More thoughts 😉. and believe me, I’m grateful for all your help!

well answer the jacks question
but if you use fox farm trio than use
Big bloom.. 5-10 ml per gallon (not sure how much you have).
Grow big.. 5 ml per gallon..

For Jacks I purchased 5-12-26 and 15-0-0, they should be in today. I also have Epsom salts to go with Jacks

I suspect there may be a nutrient deficiency caused by antagonistic elements. For example, Ca can cause an Mg deficiency. That's only something to consider, though. It's best to follow Nick's advice.

Hoping you can possibly help with my ongoing issue
:frowning:
with my first Grow

Some basic info below:

Media - soil FF Ocean forest

2x4 & 4x4 indoor grow tent (6 plants total)

250 watt Viperspectra 1500 Pro LED & Viparspectra KS5000

Fabric pots - 5 gal

Originally spring water for first 8 weeks, changed

this week to RO water.

Indica plants

Fox Farms Trio nutrients, Cal Mag, recharge

Carbon exhaust and clip on fans

Plants in 8th week of veg

Watering/feed at about 1.25 gal per plant

Ran 6 weeks veg without flush and PPMs in runoff got as high as 1800-2000 ppM, runoff ph around 6.0- 6.25… Leafs started to yellow with green veins and then brown spots.

After flush with sledgehammer, ppM down to 550- 700. Did a feeding at next watering and PPMs up to 700-900 runoff after feeding. Did a watering with calmag and fish shit 3 days later and PPMs at 1000-1200. PPMs going in are about 600-700.

Plant do not seem to want to move from lime green to darker green and PPMs continue to rise concerning me that they are not up taking nutes. I talked to Fox Farm and they said don’t go by runoff, do a slurry PH which I did and came out with 6.4 ph. I have been wanting to move these to flower but concerned that they will continue to degrade.

Interesting to note that internal and lower leaves are nice dark green.

A couple of questions:

  1. Do you think the plants are stilled locked out and require another flush? Is only been 2 weeks since last flush.
  2. Am I too concerned with PPMs and not feeding enough so perhaps that is why they will not recover. When feeding, only 1/2 Trio recommended.
  3. Should I top dress with some dolomite lime to increase the soil ph ?
  4. Could high humidity in late veg cause some of this problem 60-75%
  5. I have been delaying flipping to flower for 2+ weeks and concerned that the what I hope to see in improvement may not ever get there…. Do I flip or wait more?
Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Having the same problem after running 1200ppfd week 3 of flower with 1300ppm Co2 in the room
Light was too close.
Just a bit more brown spots on mine
Would you agree with me on this? @GNick55
Sorry for just posting my pic in your thread mate but i thought it might help u make a decision

I would look into your soil mixture.
Two things to note:
FF Ocean Forest is dense, and hot.
Its pre-charged so you shouldnt need to feed as much as you are.
The density will cause nutrient build up as it doesnt have enough drainage to be run as a stand alone hydroponic medium;
you should be seeing 30% runoff every watering [without overwatering], if you are not adjust your mixture with more drainage. ie. perlite, rice hulls, or pumice. To be clear, 1L of feed should yield 300ml of run-off. If you are achieving this. the posibility of having to stress plants with mid growth flushing is greatly reduced, and your idividual nutrient levels will be more constant.
Good on you for keeping a close eye on run-off PPM & pH, this is the best way to diagnose nutrient based crop issues;
pH looks good around 6-6.5
Ideal PPM for natural co2 levels is 800-1200, strain dependent.

Plants were asking for water today as it was the fourth day since last watering. I fed them 1000 PPMs and gave each 5 gal pot 1.25-1.5 gallons ph 6.7 Watered to 20% runoff and my numbers were unfortunately what I expected, ph on 3 of the 6 plants was about 5.95 and PPMs around 1400-1500. Seems at every watering or feeding, the ph is dropping and ppM increase by 200.

Interested in any further insight…. Thanks again!
