I’ve walked around with a shop vac hose pulling air away from my tent while I spritz the outside of the tent. This may be overkill. it’s worked though.

One time while making oil with coconut oil, I accidentally dropped a chunk of the leftover on the floor and my cat went for it like it was a mouse. He mowed that shit down before I could do anything about it.

He just laid on the couch for like 3 days. He didn't act like he was sick or anything he just looked chill as fuck. He would only get up to drink a bunch of water and chow down on his food then he went straight back to the couch. It was kinda funny

But at any rate, I just throw the leftover out after it's been properly wrung out and filtered.
