Think I panic watered last night. Ended up overwatering an already droopy plant. Thought the pot was rather light. Watered with just a liter to see if it would perk up but it dropped further. May just start over. I’ve put these 2 through hell since I begun. Lights were going off so didn’t get a pic.

Don't give up! Just let em dry out. They'll bounce back.

Does anyone think this light would work for starting seedlings? I know it says only for reptiles but I'm trying to make some of my older stuff work. If not I guess I could start them under the 300w at a lower setting, or get a different 24" bulb for the fixture.

. Never giving up. Just wanted this run to be different haha. I’m my own worst enemy when it comes watering/feeding. It’s like the last moment thinking they need something and they really don’t need shit. I need to leave them alone lol. I will never understand that

I agree with dragon, don’t scrap them let them dry back homie. Also, keep us updated on pics too man, it really makes helping out a lot easier. But I wouldn’t bail them yet.

So that is the softer white light needed to mix with a day bulb in order to keep a reptiles vision on point and temps nice. I get the logic, but they really don’t have the ummph needed.
I would get a different bulb or run your 300 watt at the lowest setting with an appropriate height. What are your ambient temps in your grow space homie?

Yeah, I'm also not sure how much UV this bulb has left and kind of worried it would burn a little plant. I see Amazon has 5000K bulbs for $11 so may get one of those.

Viparspectra recommends running their light at 24" 50% power. Kind of seems like a waste of energy if I can start them under 20 watt. Ambient temp will be in the low 70s but got a heat mat/dome for germination to bring it up.
