I agree, it’s worth it tho. I have all of mine basically mainlined. I just take pins and tie downs away to allow for a healthy stretch post veg.

So, my idea got pushed up a little. I was doing some housekeeping (should have stayed out of the tent) and the fan dropped on #4. Figured since she took a hit, might as well get the abuse over with in one go

Really the tying down is for height restrictions and keep them short. All about tent management, something I'm still learning

Ahh ok. I thought the branches needed to be level on both sides In order for easier access to food. I watch to many videos from to many different people on YouTube. Seems like I run around getting different knowledge each day lol. I make everything more difficult then it really is

If you do split the stalk keep zip strips handy. It’ll fix it right up.

They say that, I haven't noticed much. My Strawberry Fantasy were all quad/mainlined without tying, my first grow I tied them down. Didn't notice any major differences. But I hate giving anecdotal evidence only. In my opinion the bro-science comes to play in thinking that our manipulation of branch position is beneficial for the plants.

From what I've gathered the true benefit of quad/mainlining I the even sculpting of the plant so that harvest is better in yield and quality due to getting rid of larfy bud and making the plant focus all of its energy on only 8 branches (unless your JKash and do 32). Bulks up those specific colas and makes trimming easier was well. I just wrote waay too much
