You might get away with some rubber gaskets. Sit one in the female thread and screw the male end in. The rubber gasket should stop the water leak.

You can pick up a pack of them near hoses in the garden section of homedepot.

mmm not sure if i know what you mean,.

Got it! Sorry about that. At first watch i thought the leak was coming from the connection between the hose and the faucet. For that i was recommending put the gasket in the opening of the hose and screw it on.

I've replaced a few kitchen spray hose lines with a kit like this:

Looks like it might have the coupler piece you are looking for.

Not sure! I'm definitely not a pro

quick look and mmm might be it,..
i’m gonna go to the plumbing store here,. called wolseley,..

They’ll have that at lowes or Home Depot in the plumbing section probably near the transparent poly hoses and gas flare fittings.

Also I don’t recommend screwing most plumbing things together without pvc tape. Sometimes you don’t need it but you usually do and you can’t possibly CAUSE a leak by using it. Just make sure you feed the tape on the correct way, I.e, such that when you are screwing in the male piece, the cut end of your pvc tape is not going against the direction that you are screwing it on.

Got bored and stoned, wife’s cast iron collection was starting to get outta hand up on the shelves, had to start hanging them, decided to strip and cure a few of them fresh while I was at it

All of them are used most we’ve had for awhile and use regularly, but the few new ones, lots of elbow grease getting them free of rust so I could re-cure lol

Planning to fill the whole wall as I find them at garage sales, love cooking on top of the wood stoves with them lol
